Are we sure the Giants are gonna rest starters next week?

If I were them I wouldn’t. They should know they have no shot at anything and knocking the Eagles, the best team in the league for 14 weeks, from #1 seed to #3 or lower is a bigger feather in the cap for them. But I’d bet they don’t have the balls and rest starters.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

The decision to sit Hurts out this week was asinine.  If he could have played, he should have played.  He not only is their best player but he is the unquestioned leader of the team.  Hated the way this coaching staff has approached the last 2 weeks.

They should have been able to win that game with Minshew. The in-game coaching decisions were what was atrocious. Minshew showed last week we can put points on the board with this offense. He played poorly today but all and all I thought the in-game coaching was what lost the game if we’re looking at a singular thing.

we are in the middle of an epic collapse. Yeah injuries, still from 13-1 to on the verge of ending the season 13-4 with a wild card loss on the road to be 13-5.  About to lose 4 straight.

would have to be one of the worst collapses in NFL History.

I think right now these teams are better than us. It's now a long shot to Win next week.

Cowboys, Niners, Vikings, Lions, Giants, Saints, Tampa, Carolina. maybe Seahawks probably on par with the Skins and Packers currently.

13 wins.   How would he not be?

Who would be a clear better choice?

He's struggled with adjusting the gameplan when Hurts isn't playing

Their coach is cocky might happen

I wouldn’t say no shot tbh. If they get Minnesota they have a chance to upset them. They nearly did a week ago. If they get SF then they are gonna likely get blasted.

Ok.  And?   Are there a bunch of OCs out there that do well with their backup QB (and please consider that the backup and starter here are completely different style QBs)?

How is Steichen a HC candidate?

Well he is the OC/playcaller for a very good offense. Today he was not good

Wait, was Washington eliminated today?

I don't know what was dumber, Siri not playing Hurts or Ron playing Wentz.

As well as the "Minshew is the best backup in the league and would start for at least half of NFL teams” crowd.

Curious, who do you think is a better backup? Jimmy G, maybe Darnold, maybe Mike White for me but it’s hard to think of many.

Wow at that play in Tampa.

Honestly shouldn’t matter who the F the giants have out there if we aren’t stupid and handle our business. If we lose to the giants then we deserve not to get the 1 seed. No reason we couldn’t win one of the last 3. Last week it was Gannon, the defense and turnovers. This week offensive play calling and gamplan was a disaster along with Gannon and the defense in the first half making no adjustments.

I'm just stating the fact. I have no fight in that discussion of whether the OC is a HC candidate. I should have added that to the post

Of course he is. But so would Dillard. Your post was "can Dillard really be that much worse than Driscoll?” Which is a different point than "We missed Lane Johnson today”

If you would’ve said that I wouldn’t have disagreed. The implication was that Driscoll didn’t belong on the field and I pointed out that I thought several other players had worse games today than Driscoll. Don’t be contentious there’s no need for it.

Minshew may have been the only player on the field worse than Driscoll. He was that bad.

No.

Wow.

I don’t think so. They are 7-8-1. If they beat Dallas next week along with GB loses to Minnesota today but beats the lions next week, Seahawks lose one of the last two they get in.

packers win today then lions or packers are likely going 9-8 unless they tie. If they tie i think lions own the tiebreaker over packers and Washington

So who has to lose in order for us to back our way into hfa

"RUN THE DAMN BALL" is trending on Twitter right now, earlier it was "FIRE GANNON"

LOL

And now their overconfidence and cockiness will hurt them.  This team is done

Stop.

If they lose next week then you can be doom and gloom all you want.

They could win next week, have a week off, get Lane, CGJ and possibly Maddox and Sweat back for the playoffs and possibly go on a run.

There’s some reporters talking on social media that they could be eliminated today and I don’t see how.
