A bit better and different than SF. SF had Trent Williams and a 4 that supported him well. KC has the stud interior and weaknesses on the outside.

KC is clearly the 3rd best run blocking O-line of the 3. In now way is this some incredible upgrade in opponent O-line.

True, their interior is better than their exterior.

And I think Reid tries to make up for it with lots of his screens, eagles should be ready for the screen game, gotta know it's coming.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Honestly what makes that cardinals nfc title game lost sting more is how much of a dumpster fire that organization has been besides like the Warner era and the couple of years with Arians and Palmer. Otherwise they’ve been a disaster

The annoying part is in the past it felt like they always had our number. Didn’t matter how good Eagles were or how good Cardinals were but if we were flying out to play Jake Plummer we’d lose for sure.

At least it changed more recently and we’ve handled them pretty easily the last few years.

My greatest concern is Hurts' shoulder. The offense was truely dynamic earlier this season. The Chiefs special teams does cause some worry, as well.

Think you likely get hurts that’s closer to the divisional round than the nfc title game. Shoulder got a week off and lesser defense in the chiefs. To me if I’m the chiefs I’m not letting the eagles rushing attack beat me. First if the eagles are running the ball really well they are gonna control the clock and tempo of the game. which is keeping mahomes on the sideline. imo mahomes might try to do too much if he’s limited on possessions that’s where you have a chance at turnovers. Second i am making hurts prove his shoulder is 100%. Cause he hasn’t needed to have a high attempts of throws since he’s come back from the injury in week 18 and if he beats me that way hats off to him. Third of the eagles run the ball well then it’s gonna bring guys into the box and eventually smith, brown or quez is gonna hit a big play. Fourth the eagles oline will wear down the chiefs DL. The chiefs aren’t super deep and if jones and Clark wear down as the game goes on then the eagles will have more time to throw and bigger holes.

If im spags I’m selling out to stop the run and seeing if hurts’ shoulder holds up.

Can anyone tell me what this is in reference to?

Mahomes will sidestep one outside rusher. We need something up the middle or both ends to get home. I think the key is getting a push in the middle. Don’t need to get there but need to move the pocket back a bit.

I’d add actually getting the sack and bringing him down. This is a game where a 3rd and 5 that could’ve been a 3rd and 13 if you didn’t let him get out of a sack is a massive.

This begs the question. Did Gannon actually gut those crybaby forty whiners or were they gutless this whole time?

Gannon saying the defense was going to gut the 49ers.

100% we need her for the kelce speech at the parade

The mods already told us he was the most reported poster on the boards, so obviously lots of people had issues with him. The blog is one thing, since most people know each other and have thicker skin, but if he was doing that same shtick in the rest of tate, he might've been playing with fire. Heck, for all we know, he might've had a few one night and started doing it in PMs with the mods, which is just asking for trouble.

You clearly missed the "it’s so soft” part of last night’s indictment of the Blog.

Like DeVonta I think the body size thing is just an unsubstantiated fear more than an actual analytic prediction.

There have been a few slim and smaller WRs who made it in the NFL. We had one in DeSean. Now he did have his fair share of injuries, but even with that, taking him mid second round was a complete steal. He only fell there because people thought he would break in half (and maybe a character concern or two).

Is there any notable occurances of an undersized QB with immense upside continually taking unusual injuries that caused him to never pan out?

In my opinion, if he can last in the SEC, then he’s probably going to be okay once he gets into his NFL body.

I flagged him for a post flaming another user and the system gave him 2 points. Didn’t realize that took him to 10. Since I know he was blowing off steam, I reduced it to 9 total points and 2 weeks.

But let’s consider this his second and last chance.

Perfect opportunity to try out the Ranter designation rather than a ban.

Ty detmer as a JR was a stud, he dislocated  both his shoulders in the last bowl game and came back and played in the game but never had the same zip on his passes.

Injury wise he was in the NFL til he was 38 years old I think so...

I'd be more worried about Young being able to see over his o line than getting a injured.

Why the heck am I catching strays in this thread from people?  I'm siding with you that the guy shouldn't have been banned 2 days before the Super Bowl.

You are catching strays because of your magnetic personality.

Oh yeah QBs get hurt all the time, of course. Even Young was nicked up this season. But to be such an issue that a team won’t risk taking you even with your immense talent? What is that based on other than fear-based random guessing?

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 35

Chiefs 14

Bonus: No field goals.

Had a dream last night we were up 32-20 in the third and were driving.

It looked like it said 62-20 but I convinced myself to be reasonable…

I had a dream last night that I was back in business school and I was making love to my honey.
