Coaching staff is really showing their warts lately. Not giving a lot of hope as it gets closer to the playoffs. Should have had the #1 seed locked up last week, and here we are uaving to play starters in week 18

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Gonna miss that man when he calls it a career. I brought it up a few weeks ago but this team feels devoid of leadership outside the QB. Slay last week with shifting the blame off himself and Brown this week doing the same.

Minshew wasn't good but he's not the reason they lost.  The media reaction to his game is pretty embarrassing. Goodness, it's almost like the Philly media was waiting for this so they could drag him.  Reub calling this game Mike McMahon level is a horrible take.

I said this week I had a lot of faith in Gardner Minshew and that I consider him one of the two or three best backups in the NFL. I was wrong. I was really wrong. He was terrible. He didn’t handle pressure well, he held onto the ball too long, he didn’t take checkdowns when they were there, he didn’t see receivers wide open and when he had a chance to pull off a dramatic rally, he couldn’t get a few inches on 4th-and-1, and then he gave away any chance the Eagles had to come back and win with that ridiculous pick-6 he threw to Marshon Lattimore. He’s here for one reason. To win this game. To hold it down until Jalen Hurts is healthy. This? This was awful. This was Mike McMahon kind of stuff. I thought Minshew was decent. I was dead wrong.

So if the raiders and packers win only the cowboys can get the 1 seed off us ?

Packers showing up. They can knock out the commanders and help the Vikings miss out of the #1 seed

Minnesota isn’t the issue, Dallas is.

So who has to lose in order for us to back our way into hfa

Dallas and Minny.

Edit:  49ers too.  They have the tiebreaker over the Eagles.

Best play by a punter I've seen all year.

Twas a proper drop kick.

Dropped it, picked it up, and then kicked.

Why would you be worried about being one and done if you are a Hurts fan boy ???

Yep, I brought this up last week.   I was trying to figure out who you keep but like you said...White can walk and CGJ is your must sign.  I'd be looking at how to trade Slay and use the money saved to bring Bradberry back.  Never going to happen but Slay apparently has hit some veteran wall.

My pissed off reactionary plan:

Hargrave—> Milton Williams.  I love this guy.
Cox —> Davis.

Maybe Suh wants to stick around another year and we can draft a DT for the rotation.

Sanders —> vet FA + draft pick.

CJGJ —> Re-sign

Edwards —> Re-sign

White —> Dean

Epps —> Re sign

keep it cheap and get the comp picks.

Can’t go into 2023 with Slay and Bradberry at 33 and 31.  We’ll regret that.  CB is a first or second round need.  And we need 2 of them.

From what I can tell, yes

I mean he’s not wrong.

3d chess: Eagles did all of this to force Dallas to play their starters in the last week of the season and be less rested when they travel to Philly for divisional playoff game.

You don’t throw backups under the bus when you’re a star.

Hargrave has cooled off and Cox has turned it on.  With that being said, both of them were off the field on the most important in favor of Suh/Joseph.  It's time to move on and get younger.  I need to see A LOT more from Jordan Davis.

What's to argue with anything said here?  Minshew was horrible.  Consistently threw bad, dangerous balls all game.  OL stunk, pre snap penalties, no commitment to the run game.  But, yes, Minshew stunk

Dean is behind Edwards on the depth chart, he is a MIKE

'This showcase could be yours if the Price is Right...'

But in all seriousness, agree completely.

A double dip at CB is certainly plausible.

My dream scenario:

Cam Smith/Joey Porter, Jr. with the NO RD1 pick

Tyrique Stevenson/ Nehemiah Pritchett RD3 pick

OL penalties were costly today.  And he's upset with himself for his... even though they did convert that 3rd down.

Silver lining of that crap stain game is Brandon Graham. Having a career year off the Achilles injury and being 34. 11 sacks now on the year. Should win comeback player of the year but probably won’t. He’s an all time franchise great.

Yeah Minshew was pretty awful. Aside from the awful throws he was incredibly skittish. He was panicking back there and was not seeing the field well at all. If someone wasn’t wide open he wasn’t finding them and I saw several throws even to open guys that were way behind them.

So now everyone is back against Gannon again? Just a few days ago I said aside from injuries, if I had to pick one area of concern heading into the playoffs it would be Gannon and people didn’t take kindly to it. And it’s not even like I said Gannon sucks and he’s going to cost the Eagles a chance at a Super Bowl. A super milquetoast comment, but all it took was one game to sort that out lol.

Shouldn't have taken the 2nd half to make adjustments for the defense. That's too slow for a team with this record
