So now everyone is back against Gannon again? Just a few days ago I said aside from injuries, if I had to pick one area of concern heading into the playoffs it would be Gannon and people didn’t take kindly to it. And it’s not even like I said Gannon sucks and he’s going to cost the Eagles a chance at a Super Bowl. A super milquetoast comment, but all it took was one game to sort that out lol.

Some of us have been anti-Gannon all year.

He hasn't learned his lessons
- Letting teams dink and dunk over the middle of the field
- No reactive instead of active (see Washington game)
- Letting opposing teams just stick their #1 option in the slot to get 1 on 1 matchups with Josiah Scott.

None of this is hindsight bias. It's been well documented.

I'll add this: he's against playing rookies and it's costing him. It took too long to put Blankenship in. It's also time for bench Kyzir for Dean.

You’re welcome. Been a fan long enough to know to expect the worse with this team and be pleasantly surprised when something else happens.

Edited my response, Apologies.

I get caught up too...

Pissed at the Gameplan and the Outcome, as we all are.

Again, sorry you were in the way of my pissedoffedness...there's a new word for ya...

Beat the Sh!t outa the Giants is the next task. Here we go...

You don’t throw backups under the bus when you’re a star.

You’re right you shouldn’t. I was agreeing with Kelce.

I know we didn't really deserve to win anyway but shoutout to the refs for royally effing us. We might've actually ran the ball at the end if we had a lead.

I’m not a fan of the guy and he’s made me nervous all season. I can’t say he’s bad, but saying I trust him is entirely different and against the better teams in the NFC I can’t trust him.

Kelce

I completely agree with Kelce, was just using it as a jumping off point. Like an egg.

Kelce is just being his usual consummate professional self. And a superb leader/captain of the team.

If you want a silver lining, how bad is the cowboys defense if they allowed Minshew to pick them apart like that?

Another silver lining is Hurts really might just be that good and if he is the Eagles will be positioned well for years to come.

No biggie. We all have our opinions and if you’re not pissed off after this one you aren’t a real fan. I like the word pissedoffedness 👍

Minshew wasn't good but he's not the reason they lost.  The media reaction to his game is pretty embarrassing. Goodness, it's almost like the Philly media was waiting for this so they could drag him.  Reub calling this game Mike McMahon level is a horrible take.

I said this week I had a lot of faith in Gardner Minshew and that I consider him one of the two or three best backups in the NFL. I was wrong. I was really wrong. He was terrible. He didn’t handle pressure well, he held onto the ball too long, he didn’t take checkdowns when they were there, he didn’t see receivers wide open and when he had a chance to pull off a dramatic rally, he couldn’t get a few inches on 4th-and-1, and then he gave away any chance the Eagles had to come back and win with that ridiculous pick-6 he threw to Marshon Lattimore. He’s here for one reason. To win this game. To hold it down until Jalen Hurts is healthy. This? This was awful. This was Mike McMahon kind of stuff. I thought Minshew was decent. I was dead wrong.

There are a lot of mouths to fill with humble pie for this loss... most of them in the coaching staff room.  Asking Minshew to throw against a top passing defense and ignore the run against one of the weakest run defenses is ludicrous.  It was clear Minshew wasn't comfortable back there... so how does a coaching staff help their QB?  By asking the OL and RBs to carry it until they get into a rhythm.  Instead they kept going to the pass and testing Lattimore.  Why test Lattimore?  If you want to pass, why was Goedert ignored early?  Why weren't the RBs leaned upon, like they were last year against the Jets?  We have our backup RT in the game?  Why put him on an island so much?  Let him run block rather than pass block.  Why not lean on the left side of the OL to run behind more?

Lots of questions for the coaching staff.

That holding call was insane. It looked like even the Saints players knew it wasn't a hold

Let’s hope it lights a fire. I doubt it but we’ll see.

Wild how if it wasn’t for Doug and Jacksonville Dallas would have the one seed right now and we’d be relying on Wentz to beat Dallas next week to get it back.

Hurts would have played last week if that was the scenario.

You do wonder how much the giants will want to beat us and risk injury for their play off appearance. It’s been 6 years for them they won’t want to duck things up so may play it safe and rest starters

Who is the Giants backup QB?

Because he will look like Montana against this defense lol

With the way the packers game is going if we don’t win the #1 seed the cowboys will, so it’s not like the alternative is better. That said, the Eagles need to be able to win that game regardless. If they can’t they don’t deserve to do anything in the playoffs.

He’ll have the game of his life with 350 yards, 6 tds, and 1 incompletion.

It makes zero sense for them to play their starters but it depends how bitter they are about 2020 and the Sudfeld game.

If they don’t they don’t even deserve to be in the playoffs honestly.

Yea, not a fan of this. Did anyone talk down about you to the media when you fumbled twice, with one almost costing the game AJ?

Didn’t think so.

They should rest their starters and use next week as a bye for their starters, since they won't get one moving forward.  Different coaching staff here and there since that game happened in 2020.  It would actually be petty to let that impact their decision for how they approach this game upcoming.  If they feel they need their starters to play in order to stay sharp for the playoffs... then so be it.  But, if they want to rest dinged up players and starters, they've earned that by clinching already.  And they are locked in at the 6 seed.  Nothing they do or happens around the league will change that.  10-6-1, 9-7-1, no difference one way or the other.  And right now, either the Eagles or Dallas will be the 1 seed.  Does it really matter who it is to them?

Ewww he’s awful. He’s good for multiple turnovers but not against Philly.

What player/coach/front office member is still there that cares?
