There was constant LB pressure up the middle and Carlos Dunlap appeared to find the fountain of youth tonight.

Man, I don’t agree with this at all.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Why couldn't we blitz more, put a guy on a Kelce the way they had Justin Reid on Goedert, play more man than zone. Pretty simple common sense things I thought going into the game.

Do we even know the cap implications if he comes back?

Mahomes is otherworldly against the blitz.

I think we didn't really.face any of the good afc qbs till today. Allen, Burrow, Herbert maybe would have torched this punk a** soft zone scheme.

If we faced Dak instead of SF in the NFCCG he probably would have lit them up too.

Didn't you see Hurts getting flushed out more than usual?  Seemed to me there were at least 5-7 plays where there was pressure up the middle with Hurts running a big 15 yard loop just to get to the sideline and get rid of the ball.

I thought a lot of that was caused by Willie Gay.

Absolutely right.  And the Chiefs offense basically was perfect.  Team game.  53 men... coaches... etc.  Takes a village.

The defense was capable of making one or two plays and they didn’t.  The story will be the Chiefs offense and Mahomes but we made them look good by how inept we were.  This defense blew it.  I know it’s not what will happen but Super Bowl or not, if Gannon doesn’t get the Cardinals job he should be let go.  This is on him and the defense, and the special teams.  It might get lost but they suck too.  We should be very encouraged with the offense.  If we had a gamer as a D coordinator, we win.  Gannon blows

Gannon is exposed when the pass rush can’t get there.  Spags on the other hand has blitz packages in his bag.

Tonight we needed something different but Gannon had nothing.

When it became clear the field was a disaster, Gannon should have started mixing it up a little bit to try and get free rushers like the Chiefs did.

Jesus Im still just so pissed about how the Eagles have now absolutely pissed away 2 of the 3 SBs in my lifetime.

Cut the BS about expecting more. It’s both wether you realize it or not. You feel some way about the outcome, others feel differently. Telling people "it’s just a game” or "get a grip” not even an hour after the end is dismissing THEIR feelings. Let people be angry and vent. You don’t need to tell other people how to feel to express your feelings.

We have an over abundance of anger and venting.  We need go no further than the anger and venting in Memphis to see what havoc that brings.  I’m done.  Enjoy yourself.

Mahomes isn’t affected by the blitz - I rather just play 5 man fronts to snuff the run and keep him in the pocket. The 4 DL approach failed, no pressure and porous against the run.

This team is going to look entirely different next year. From coaching staff to huge player turnover.  It's going to be interesting.  Here's to a long off season.

The issue besides just played turnover is that likely not going to have the same type of injury luck all year next year. To have 22 of 22 starters from week 1 playing in the SB is a rarity. I think the offense can still get better going forward. Hurts works hard so I’m guessing he’ll be as good next year and likely somewhat better. Can add another Wr to replace Watkins. I do think losing seumalo will hurt. And i think sanders replacement can be successful behind that line.

I think the biggest issue for the Eagles in 2023 is what are they gonna do on defense. You’re not extending all those guys. 7 starters are FA. I love fletcher and graham but i think it’s time to turn the page unless Graham or cox are willing to come back at a really reduced salary which i kind of doubt. Graham is on a snap count and Cox really isn’t worth the money he likely thinks he’s owed.

I think you let edwards and white both go. in todays nfl i don’t believe they are good enough against joker echelon offenses. They will get exploited. Id go Dean and try to look to add another Lb via the draft. I’d bring back CJGJ and hargrave. I’d say Bradberry but i think someone pays him. I’d probably address CB high in the draft. Imo I would actually rather have Bradberry than slay at the stages of their career. I think slay is starting to decline and felt Like as the season continued on he wasn’t as good.  And he’s going to be 32 next year. However, I think the Eagles due to contract have him back next year.

I really hope Gannon takes that Cardinals job. I was on the fence earlier today because Fangio is going to Miami and who you have to replace Gannon doesn’t really have the experience you want with a team that’s likely a contender in the NFC. But now it’s painfully obvious he doesn’t know how to game plan against better QBs. I don’t think it’s changing any time soon either. He runs what he runs and is too stubborn to realize it doesn’t work being that basic against those teams. With the talent we have there’s no reason we couldn’t have held mahomes and the chiefs in the 20s like cincy has done the last 3 games.  It’s painfully obvious Gannon is simply not good enough against better offenses/QBs

Exactly, he got stifled and had no answer for his Pro Bowlers not winning 1 on 1s.  The dude is a f'ing fraud

Besides making sure Gannon isn't back.  Guy did a good job overall all season but he sucks vs good QBs.

So then there's no point in bringing him back. He's going to face good qb's in the playoffs and Super Bowl.

I completely disagree that he was restricted.

It was a great call by Andy Reid in part because that kind of route draws those flags all the time.

100% correct.

The Chiefs ran so many double moves and put our corners in conflict with motion that confused our corners.

We had two weeks to prep and failed spectacularly.

Spags was the better DC tonight.  Both AR and Nick/Shane called masterful games.  Step back and put away our Eagles fandom for a second and this may have been the most enjoyable game from a viewpoint as a fan of football as there ever has been in the Super Bowl.  Disappointed the Eagles lost but wow, what a game on offense. The stouter D won and part of that was that Gannon didn’t prepare the D as well as Spags did. Yeah, Mahommes is unpredictable but scheme wise Spags was better than Gannon.  That said, the Eagles O beat the KC O.  The turnover matter as did the awful punt coverage.  In fact if I was going to say what cost the game was that PR not the phantom holding call

I like Pat Mahomes. Great player, seems like a really good dude, has some kind of "it" factor for sure. But holy crap is he a drama queen. His ankle is fine but man does he like to make theater out of it.

All year Gannon has been called out for being passive. Welp, it finally caught with him. Hope he enjoys being a passive head coach. Also, the ST coach and Siposs need to be gone. The one punt Siposs had was a shank.

Mcnabb pissed one away and the 2022 defense pissed one away.

Maybe it's just me but it seems like the Eagles WR are terrible at scramble drills.  There doesn't seem to ever be a WR coming back or breaking the direction Hurts is scrambling to.  Something they need to work on.

They always have been besides Smith. Honestly don’t know what the point of keeping Moorehead is. Every WR besides already polished guys like Smith or Brown regress every year.

Next year he’ll have to do the job with young players… won’t have a veteran roster to lean on… might be very 2021 like.

Pretty much.  They were clearly the more talented teams in both of those SBs too.  Just maddening, absolutely maddening.

So re-signs... Bradberry, CGJ and maybe Graham for a stop gap. Everyone else can kick rocks after that game.

I'm fine with Bradberry going. Nice year, no doubt. Decent tonight but the hold was just, horrible. I also saw him getting beat tonight so I'm fine with him going for his cost. Maybe look at the Bucs CB that's much younger and a UFA

Exactly but unless he gets hired by Arizona the Eagles won't get rid of him.  We will be stuck with him.

Sick of the constant lovefest around him. I think I'm just petty though.
