I think Mahomes has a way of making the pass rush look worse than it was because he’s elite at managing a pocket or throwing off platform to get rid of the ball.

Great i saw it. So 2 of our 54 snaps is now considered a nice game? And one of the 54 was negated. Come on. sweat also had an offsides penalty added to this.  

you can believe whatever you want. I am actually re-watching the game right now. He has done very little especially against a guy that two weeks ago struggled mightily with ossai  again you telling me sweat had a nice game on 1 recorded Qb hit and 1 tackle and a 5 yard offside penalty is just as much hyperbole

To be fair, I was talking more as a pass rusher. And please don’t use Les Bowen couch tweets as some kind of proof.

Yes...this was a painful loss, within our grasps and compltely outplayed and outcoached in the 2nd half 

My anger has subsided, we played a hell of a game against the best player of this generation. We have a young stud QB, best GM in the league, a good HC, and a great offensive core.

We also have the ammo to replenish on D. I doubt we will be back next year, but I am confident we will win a SB in the Hurts/Siri era.

On to the draft!

It's obvious to me that someone or something neutralized the Eagles pass rush with those field conditions.

I hate to be cold hearted but this Super Bowl confirmed for me that both Sanders and Epps should be on the next bus out of town.  Eagles brass seems to love Epps for some reason, though.

Sanders was invisible, other than being a split-second from fumbling away a TD.  Epps’ coverage against Kelce on the first Chiefs TD looked like a little kid getting burned in a father-son game.

Like I said this loss is going to take me a minute to get over 

If they had just got outplayed and lost I probably wouldn't be taking it so hard, but that last penalty was so bad and it's so hard for me to swallow, Ima be sick for a while...

I didn’t keep up with the game day thread — did Linval Joseph play?  Did he get zero snaps?  I didn’t notice him on the field at all.

Ok, man. You’re really worked up over this. Maybe he didn’t have a nice game and I saw his only two good plays. 

Mahomes only attempted 27 passes. And Sweat didn’t play every snap. I couldn’t say how many pass rush opportunities he had, but he had two impact rushes on third downs that should have ended drives. That’s certainly better than nothing.

Regardless, I don’t care to argue with you about it anymore. 

We needed a difference make on Defense, as superstar player that could make a play.

I am very much open to trading up for Anderson or Carter, we need a War Daddy on D.

Yup, no reason to have such a horrible field in the biggest game of the year 

A team that gets 70 sacks in a season doesn't put up a donut in the biggest game if the year just because. Eagkes have seen better o lines and gotten way more pressure but that field totally neutralized the eagles pass rush and they still almost won.

If I was watching on a black and white TV I would have assumed they were playing in snow or wet field, it was so slippery.

I'm not sure if it was Intentionally  done to give KC an advantage because they had plenty of guys slip as well but I agree on a better playing surface I think the eagles win as they get Alot more pressure than they did 

Not one guy on that d line had a good game because they all looked like they were running in sand the whole game, just embarrassing that the NFL would have such a horrible field fir the biggest game of the year and that it would so negatively impact the eagles D line

I wanted to see what exactly the defense was doing and what Gannon was thinking. besides guys slipping and falling on the field when rushing, Orlando brown actually played significantly better than he did against the bengals (in 3rd quarter). Brown hasn’t got getting nearly the amount of help that the chiefs did with Wylie. 

Offensively I am not really watching. I thought they did enough to win that game. Granted that fumble and the play call on the fumble I didn’t love. Rather have trusted smith or brown than trying for a draw on 3rd and 5. And their linebacker read it really well to start so it was doomed even if hurts held onto ball.

I don’t see how we can afford a move like that. We have too many holes and not enough cap space. We can’t afford to push that many chips into one asset.
