No way, AJ had zero chance on that route. Thr only option he had was OPI.

Dont blame AJ for Minshew throwing into double coverage on his own 10.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Driscoll was not bad. He was fine (I'm not saying he was good). Half the sacks he gave up was Minshew holding onto the ball too long or panicking in the pocket. Live, it didn't seem that they gave him a ton of help. He did get some Goedert chips.

I was waaaay more frustrated with Kelce. He caused many of false start penalties.

He knew he was running right into double coverage.  He said he tried to signal out of it but Minshew probably decided in the huddle where the ball was going. Him running any harder would have made no difference, the Saints had it sniffed out and Minshew handed them a f'ing TD.  AJ told the truth, sometimes the truth hurts.

How many times did they run that quick slant today?  Seemed like once every 3 plays (usually one of the 3 and out plays)

Zero chance to do what?  To break up the pass?  I disagree.   Minshew screwed up.  AJ quit on the play.  Both are wrong.

I’d be playing Lane Johnson against the Giants if it were up to me.  You know better than any of us…if this is something that needs to be surgically repaired, then not much is going to be better for Lane in 1 week than in 3.  Right?  He’s just gutting it out until he can’t go anymore.

I’d rather he burn a game now, then take a week off, then get back at it…than rest up until our away game wild card weekend.

Send the message to the team that it’s time to start winning again.

He got hurt last week. So this week, Giants week, bye, and a week till the 1st playoff game in divisional round is basically 4 weeks. That makes a big difference in muscle injuries.

Returning for the Giants game is quick even on a muscle strain timeline (which we know, this injury is worse than that). Id say almost certainly he will aggravate it, and be even worse off for playoffs at that point.

I wouldnt play him in this one.

He had one himself... but how did Kelce cause the false starts of his fellow line mates?

Sure it would have. Turn yourself into a defender and break it up.

Yes, that's been stated.  But that variable changes the hubris on the part of the Eagles' coaches... aka, they wouldn't have gone so vanilla... and who knows who plays or doesn't in the last two games.

In other words... that doesn't matter.

I also feel like they were a lot more creative last week against Dallas. This week they were really vanilla and seemed scared to even challenge their secondary.

It’s not over until it’s over but it’s likely over.

I know it’s not a fact had the Cowboys beat the jags that they would control #1 seed. I just posted it because it is pretty unbelievable how razor thin of a margin the Eagles have despite winning 13 games in a conference that isn’t very good.

27-24 SF

It's the NFL. Every single team has at least 3 losses. Doug didn't do us any favours. The Jags are trying to win the AFC South. The Cowboys barely beat the Texans, then lost to the Jags. It just as easily could have been flipped.

Alexander had Jefferson locked up all game too.

?

Jags beating the Cowboys absolutely did us a favor. It doesn’t mean he only did it to the benefit of the Eagles. Not sure how you could possibly argue otherwise. If the Cowboys lost to the Texans, which they didn’t, then the Texans would also have done us a favor.

Why isn't the conference good? You're about to have 4 13 win teams.
