Maybe we should've gotten Hunt at the deadline even.

Don’t worry. They got Quinn.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I'm not defending a loss in the biggest game of the Year. We were there til 2:43.

Just trying to rationalize the narrative that the field conditions favored one side or the other.

Hey, I'm pissed, too! It was there for the taking...

Sending Hate Mail to the Refs as we speak for that "Holding" call, but plenty of other reasons why we lost this one.

So, what's the beef?

Speaking of Kareem Hunt, I think the Eagles will sign a RB for a fair contract(and also draft one) and I could see Hunt being that guy.

Okay Ute. Take a breath.

We're all pissed, or hung over, or just plain exhausted but the field was not the turning point in this game, in any respect.

First half vs Second half, what changed?

Schemes, not field conditions...Right?

What changed in the 2nd half, the chiefs got the ball, they barely had the ball the first half, eagkes dominated the TOP.

Second half with a lead same thing that's been working all year drop 7 get pressure with 4 knowing chiefs are going to pass difference was there was zero pressure because of the field

There was zero pressure in the first half because can't pressure a QB whose in the sideline without his helmet.

That game is played on a suitable playing surface that allows the eagles DEs to do what they've done all year which is create pressure with 4 it totally changes the trajectory of the game.

Instead the field totally neutralized the eagles pass rush and they were at a distinct disadvantage because of it.

Plenty of clips on this blog have already been posted if sweat and Reddick just slip and sliding to the turf with no one touching them.

When ones defensive scheme is so dependant on creating edge pressure with 4 guys and the field nullifies that, that's going to have a huge affect in the game.

I'm fine with whining and making excuses, the coaches and players won't so I will.

The field negatively effected the eagles ability to do what they do best and just that decreased their chances of winning

He is right!  Did we not see players slipping all over? The d line wasn't effective in neither the first or second half. No sacks! Use your eyes they even looked noticibley slow.

K. I did. They didn't get any sacks either...

Hunt would be a great fit

I can’t think of a worse mood than I’m in right now. Maybe the the Bucs shutting down the Vet. I don’t remember being this depressed.

That was bad, the loss to the Panthers, and of course the 1st loss to the Pats, some of those playoff losses when Randall was QB, 2001 loss vs Rams where Buckhalter was going Buck and suffered the knee injury are the others that come to mind.

Just got back to LA. I just...I don't know what to say. What a horrific way for the game to end, especially when they had been letting them play all day. Haven't seen it on TV, but looked like it was completely tick-tack.

Quinn had a massively impacting 2 snaps last night.

If Gannon doesn't get the Arizona job, it's going to be bad vibes to bring him back. I know they will, and it makes sense to, but JG better not be rolling down his window outside the Linc anymore.

If Steichen signs with the Colts and Johnson gets promoted, what do you think about Pep Hamilton as QB coach?

An issue I'm having with just promoting Johnson is the experience level, especially after getting exposed yesterday. Johnson is even less experienced than Shane and that was a deciding factor last night. Not so sure I wanted to give the job to someone with even less experience, I'm having a hard time of seeing how we are better by doing that.

Fair take...

We can't effectively pressure the QB if we have to rush the O Line on the same stretch of ground they're blocking us on...

This is going nowhere...we lost the battle of the trenches, something we were expected to dominate.

Micro Dissection next...

Might take a tomato in the head if he does...

Also, based on the replays they showed in the stadium, no one thought that Smith catch would be overturned. Was there something on TV that made it obvious?

Well, in fairness, he ain't no Chris Long...

Looking forward to buying a Truck from him in a couple months....

What makes this hurt so much for me is that this isn't the beginning of a window. This was a unicorn of a season with barely any injuries and cap room to make moves.

Hurts gets paid and then we have to start actually relying on the draft and that scares the ish out of me because we are generally bad at getting immediate impact out of draftees.

I was at the game and it was a strange sequence. During the break/replay, KC's defense started walking back to the original line of scrimmage making people think it was coming back. Then they started walking up to the new line of scrimmage after that making it look like it was going to stay and the crowd erupted. And then they reversed it to a no-catch. It was a weird, roller-coaster of a sequence.

Nope, that was an awful call as well.

Nothing even remotely close to overturn the call

Not to find a way to bring everyone back.

Be better.

Starting with the DC...

It was a make-up reversal for the catch against the Niners.  There was no way the league would let two iffy ones go our way.
