If the Eagles win next week, get the 1 seed, and don’t sustain any more injuries, then they may be able to recapture the mojo they had for most of the season.

But if they don’t win and slip to the 5 seed, it’s over.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

So 49ers will now be the 2 after today, Minnesota falls to 3. Does Philly hold the tie breaker if SF?

I think the top 4 teams in the NFC make it a pretty strong conference. Us, Dallas, SF, and Minnesota are all very good teams. Minnesota is shakey, but still, they aren't 12-4 on accident. I don't know why Eagles fans always view Dallas some weak team when they consistently beat us with Dak. They're a legit contender IMO. It's a good conference, it just doesn't have the star QBs like the AFC does.

100% healthy Eagles versus 100% healthy Dallas, even at the Linc, in a divisional playoff game, worries me greatly.

5th seed is a death wish for them. They would play the 2 seed, likely the Bucs. And do we actually think they can beat Tampa and Tom Brady on the road? Tampa has been slumping but you never know with Tom in the playoffs.

A month ago the Packers were 4-8 and looked dead. Now they just need to win 1 game against Detroit and they are in the playoffs. They've won 4 straight. Well, it will be 4 straight when this game is over.

Minnesota should tank the last game to play the Giants instead of the Packers.

What a fuxking catch

Wow what an i believable catch by Adams

Wonder if Raiders go for 2 if they score.

Yup Rodgers and the Pack leaking at the right time. Watch out NFC.

They gotta score first. From what I am watching, they need to score and not leave too much time for the Niners.

Is major tuddy based on Carson wentz ?

Almost looked like SF let them score. Makes sense. They have 3 timeouts and only need 3.

Its not a good conference... but the Vikings have 12 wins... somehow.  Cowboys have 12 wins now as well... somehow.  49ers... amazing everyone.    This is what the NFL wants.   This parody is precisely what they've wanted and now they have 'parody' allowing the AFC and NFC top seeds are all in flux right now.

Bills win and jump to 1 seed.  Lose and they drop to 3.   Bengals, Bills and Chiefs are on the trail for #1.
NFC... Eagles, Vikings, 49ers, Dallas are all in the midst of the chase for #1.

I'm not a Cocspiracy Theortst

I'm not one that buys into the NFL explicitly fixing games to get the outcomes they want... but they absolutely do implicitly with the schedule manipulations, free agency rules, draft rules, etc.  They want this and they are getting it.

I'm not a Conspiracy Theorist by any stretch but the NFL has shown clear evidence of their desire to promote their most attractive matchups and get them in Prime TV slots.

I said it earlier, and I'll say it again, a Billion Dollar Business Model leaves nothing to chance.

It's entertainment, a TV show. Refs are the Arbiters of what happens. Our Team can win the Battle and Lose the Game if that's what the NFL wants...Not today, so much, but generally speaking...

I guess this is aimed at my comment. Do you think the NFC overall is "good”?

I see the Eagles and 49ers as the only good/great teams. Dallas and Minnesota can finish with 13 wins but that feels like a byproduct of two ok teams beating up on a bad conference. Giants already locked up a playoff spot and they are average at best imo.

No. The NFCS has been a dumpster fire and SF only above average team from NFCW.
I think the top 4 teams have been able to take advantage of a down year for the conference. To go further Minn and SF have been able to take advantage of an uncompetitive division. Yes, GB/DET made runs late but their poor start to season allowed minn to clinch division with 1/4 season left.

Fair enough. I just don’t think it’s that strong when you compare it to other years. Like last year had the Bucs, Rams, Packer and 49ers as legit contenders along with Cowboys and Cardinals who looked good at times. I think the path to the SB is much easier this year than others.

Jacob’s TD

Come on Raiders! You got this.

The Raiders defense is horrendous, I can't see any way the Niners don't get into FG range here.

Wonder if Wentz has played his last game or if some team will bring him in next year to play on is 4th team in 4 years.

1:11 left to play is a lot of time.

You're probably right honestly. I do think the 49ers and Cowboys are going to be very tough outs still, not much different than those teams from last year.
