Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

How do you all know Hurts didn't give advice to Minshew because you didn't see it on the sidelines?

Maybe he talked to him at half and was brushed off. Everyone isn't receptive to constructive criticism.

It's why I said it was nitpicking and that I'm sure he talked to him but the camera just didn't show it.  Just pointing out that every time they did show Hurts, he looked like completely disinterested.

Great steak is worth waiting for.

There’s no such thing as a bad steak if you cook it properly.

Besides Salisbury steak. That’s gross.

What. Ground beef spoiled with nasty spices, Parsley and overcooked?

Poor Man's Meat Loaf??

Good God, Man, Cmon, some palates need strokin...

At least allow the opportunity to fail...got Ketchup?  :peng:

Not at all surprised to see the blog finding ways to criticize Hurts for the loss he didn't play in.

It's an observation, not a criticism.  Initial post, I said I'm sure Hurts was involved.  However, if you looked at him any time they showed him, does that look like a man who has any interest in the game?

Looked like someone very disappointed in the game that was unfolding on the field and like someone who is itching to get back out there to save this season.

Hurts erases all doubts with a stellar performance Week 18.

And I will build a shrine for him when he does.

I have the tools.

Circling back to this...

Sous vide is such a glorious cooking method to make just about every cut of steak into a beautiful and tender piece of meat.   And I was first informed about it here in the blog.

A decent sous vide machine runs only about $125 now, which is extremely affordable, especially if you like tender, delicious steak and can't always afford the 'good cuts' all the time.   The savings in meat cost more than makes up the cost of the device in a single year of use!

Yea I bought one because of the blog too. Not a fan of the reverse sear method though.

Refs are just bad man. Steelers got jobbed.

Best way to cook turkey breast!   Never dry, always juicy... turkey now is something we eat throughout the year.  So good.

I didn't say it was going to be bad.  Just isn't a ribeye.  Like I said, the Minshew of steaks.  I can be good if you have everything around it (ie martini, baked potato, a good Caesar salad and a bottle of red wine) .  But, it isn't a star on it own right like a ribeye

Hurts does it very well... but he also needs to give it more than he does.  And the coaches should be going over every single time he keeps that he shouldn't, so that he gets even better at it.  You know why?

AP22358858642025-768x512.jpg

^ This is why.

He's kept the ball too much this season.  Some by design of the offense where that's the call.  And sometimes where the call is for him to read it.  Either way, he's taken too many hits and the inevitable (and the predictable) has occurred.   And I've been told, "running QBs get injured less than pocket passers" with all kinds of 'stats' to back it up.  And yet... somehow, none of those stats actually matter, because Hurts' carries are so far above the level of any of those stats being done that it's an outlier.  The only QB that his rushing frequency compared to is Lamar Jackson... who is hurt... againand he was running even more frequently than Jackson did when he set the record for a single season.

As for the rest of your post...  :nonono: Divisive and inaccurate.

I think you might have misunderstood unless you think taking a shot at Wentz is divisive and inaccurate. Wentz_Era's boy is Wentz not Minshew to whom I am guessing you thought I was referring. This game is on the coaches as I posted early on, not Minshew.

Titans-Jags has the most playoff implications... but its Titans-Jags.  Talk about a nothing game.  Will that game draw flies?

This Steve kornacki crap needs to go

The lengths people go to dismiss Minshew of any blame.

It’s hailing in Scottsdale right now. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that out here.
