Won’t be surprised at all if they saddle us with another Saturday game.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Jordan Davis has 8 tackles on the year.  Kenny Pickett has 2.

My fear with Davis is that he peaks as a run-stuffing DT. Nothing wrong with that, but you can get those guys off the street like they did with Joseph. As the 13th overall pick, it’s a concern. Maybe he needs this year to get conditioning down and we’ll see some improvement next season. I also think he’s probably not completely healthy from the ankle.

It’s not about giving Minshew advice, it’s about leadership, energy, pumping your guys up.  It is not about looking like it is an inconvenience to you that you had to be on the sidelines.

Say what you want about Wentz, after a short bout of being down after the injury, he was rah rah and fully engaged on the sidelines.

Washers gonna wash

Exactly why I didn’t like the pick. But whatever. He’s a run stuffer and nothing more. I feel like they could have definitely went a different direction with the pick.

I hope he stays true to this and plays the starters, even though I think he’s playing a little gamesmanship here. This team needs a momentum shift and a slap in the face and they won’t get that playing against backups. They haven’t earned the right to back into the one seed off the past two weeks so go and fight for it next week. If they win, then they’ll have some good momentum heading into the playoffs. Lose and it’ll show they were never really for real.

We're screwed

While IMO this 2022 team is more talented than the 2017 team the 2017 had more competent game planning/coaching

He is pretty young and not that experienced in college -- he didn't play a lot of snaps and was used in a very consistent way. He is what he was in college but the question is, if given his freakish athleticism,  can be coached to become more. Mailata comes to mind. More raw material than most of his size is an optimistic way to looking at it.

Honestly I think they may be screwed either way. If Gannon plays the same scheme as the first half it won’t matter who’s playing qb. And of course if Hurts doesn’t play for sone reason and they have the same playcalling it’s over.

what a game..but baltimore can still tie

Also someone that just shot up the draft boards because of his combine. I hate drafting guys like that because they rarely pan out.

The game planning on offense has been excellent all year.

Nitpicking here but not once when they showed Hurts on the sideline was he talking to any coaches, players or anything.  He looked annoyed and by himself the entire game.  I would have liked to see him more engaged with Minshew or the OL at the very least.  I'm sure he was and the cameras just never caught it, but that's also the sort of thing broadcasts love to show.

The producers chose to put him on camera with an annoyed face on purpose, they didn't show him reviewing film with receivers or talking to Minshew.

You guys try so hard to find anything negative about Hurts.

The O line also looked annoyed, no one's criticizing their sideline reactions.

That's often the truth. I would say that he knows how to play with a guy like Dean behind him. He has been coached to create tackling lanes and not to get to the passer. He also seems to be a pretty humble and nice young man. I'd like a bit of Suh to rub off.

Great game from Pickett. He’s getting better week by week. I think Pittsburgh has their guy.

You love saying it's over 😄😄

If Gannon and the defense only allow 13 points, that's more than enough to win the game.  Offense has to do their part.

I mean it’s hard to be positive right now.

It's not hard to be positive. They have the best record in the NFL and lost two games without their MVP QB. People are way overreacting over two games. Negadelphia bubbling to the surface.

Thanks for posting that and showing what I said was correct.  I wasn't trying to find anything negative about Hurts at all.  If anyone is trying to be negative, it's the author of that tweet.  That reaction from Mailata could be as the result of a lot of things.  To say the whole team hates Minshew...great.

I think there's a decent chance we're the SNF game next week. Titans-Jags just announced as Saturday night.

Right, it was for the conversation that jumped to conclusions.

I hope not. Prime time is hardly ever good to us and to epically collapse on prime time would be even worse. Let the Cowboys have it since the NFL has a love affair for them.

Biggest losers of the day were the Commanders and Vikings.  Commanders just peed away a playoff spot that was very achievable.  Vikings glass slipper has broken and they’re riding on a pumpkin as the clock has struck midnight.  MIA in the same boat in the AFC — gone from 8-3 to 8-8 with a thud

CAR laid an egg today; really thought they had a great chance to beat the Bucs today, even though they very well might have blown it against the Saints next week anyway.

I think SNF will be Bills Patriots

Idk Eagles may very well be the biggest losers of the day. But the Vikings certainly screwed up because they could have had a shot at the 1 seed. Now they can do no better than 2.
