I think that's not a bad idea unless they have an opportunity to trade up and get Anderson or Jalen Carter.  It also might make sense for them to pick one of the CBs like Cam Smith but I don't know if there's as much of a drop off at that position.

Frankly I’m not risking injury in a meaningless game to thibodeaux, Thomas and Lawrence either. if they get hurt in that game and it’s serious chance they miss a portion of next year. Can happen in a playoff game as well but at least it would have come at trying to advance in the playoffs as compared to nothing.  

So basically, if we win next week and the Giants beat Minnesota (in the playoffs)  we’ll be playing the Giants 2 games in a row?

Lemme guess. The season is over. We’re losing to the Giants and then to the Bucs the following week. And Gannon should be fired. What else have I missed?

Hey AJ... when you are on the field, you are expected to give 100% on the play... no matter what you think is going to happen and where you think the ball is going to go.  And if you aren't willing to give 100%... give back some of the paycheck and let someone else have that rep.

I did a quick check last night and 15 was what I came up with. It’s possible that I overlooked something but that’s a decent number to estimate.

I wouldn’t mind that but there’s other moves that need to be made as well like Quinn and CJGJ. I think Maddox goes on IR  for one of them. The other would be to cut Covey if it’s up to me but not sure the team does that. I think they were hoping to lock the #1 seed by now so they wouldn’t have to sign Kern to the main roster.

Idk the strength of schedule but if the saints win they go 8-9. 

Washington loses to Dallas they are 7-9-1. Meaning saints pick moves behind them 

Unless lions or packers tie, then one is going to be 8-9. Would be based of SOS

Seattle loses they are 8-9 so again schedule (just hope seattle beats the rams)

New England plays Buffalo. They lose 8-9 so based off SOS

Miami plays the jets. Miami wins they are 9-8 but jets 7-10. If jets win then Miami and jets both 8-9 and goes based off strength of schedule. 

steelers play the browns. Browns win both Steelers and browns are 8-9 so based off strength of schedule. Steelers win then 9-8 and browns 7-10 so pick behind the browns.

titans vs jags. Jags win they are 9-8 and titans 7-10 so falls behind the titans pick. Titans win, they make the playoffs and jags 8-9 so SOS determines

Honestly I don’t even understand his explanations. Yesterday it was he wanted Minshew to look at him so he could get his attention to not throw the ball to him. Today it’s he was never getting the ball thrown his way (even though he literally did) so he didn’t have to give effort. 

Newsflash AJ, if you know the ball shouldn’t be thrown your way and you know you weren’t able to communicate that to your QB, then there’s no excuse for you to not act like the ball is coming your way. Because it can. And it did.
