I can’t fathom why an Eagles fan would even consider rooting for the Cowboys in that potential matchup.

Peoples irrational hate for Brady I suppose.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I’m seeing a lot of outrage on Twitter over the Packers getting an advantage from the Lions knowing whether they’ll be eliminated from playoff contention by kickoff, but I have zero doubt that Campbell will have them ready to play their arses off regardless.

Here’s why we want the Bucs to beat the Cowboys — they’re an absolutely terribly coached team on offense.

This Cotton Bowl is the wildest one I’ve seen in the last 30 years.

Been a great game and really nice to see Tulane not get walked on by USC.  Purdue couldn't do that against LSU.

(publicly). If he's not willing to question effort with the team, that's a major concern... and listening to Brown talk, he's just excusing himself for why he gave zero effort on the play.  It is there for all the world to see.

Hey AJ... when you are on the field, you are expected to give 100% on the play... no matter what you think is going to happen and where you think the ball is going to go.  And if you aren't willing to give 100%... give back some of the paycheck and let someone else have that rep.

I thought he turned a corner on the diva thing...as great of a player as he is, I'm starting to dislike the person more and more now with stuff like this.  this is the guy who said he deleted his twitter because he didn't want the distraction of people telling him how good he was though.

Yup.  That's an old school guy, and honestly... the Lions are still building something there.  9-8 versus 8-9 means a lot to that franchise.  They will play to win regardless, even if the only thing they are playing for is a winning record and to be spoilers for the Packers.

That would have started a huge fight if someone did that to an Eagles QB. I could see the whole team going after him

Kecle & Isaac will probably give him the business next week.

Does Tuipulotu have a brother at USC...speaking of him, does he come back with a bigger role next year?  Should he be counted on at all as a part of the rotation?

Seems he doesn't need anyone to tell him that, he already believes it plenty.

You find out more about a person when the chips are down than you do when everything is coming up roses.  13-1... Brown was awesome.   0-2 the last two weeks... real Brown is coming out now?   Could be.   Might be something there, which explains why he was available, besides the contract thing.

Yup. I am not a Brady fan, but I think their OL and coaching on offense are far more concerning than Brady.

Will be really interesting to see how he adjusts if Smith continues to ascend like he has the last quarter of the season.    What if Smith is the top dog.  Is AJ Brown OK being #2?

I'm neither pro or anti NIL in college football.  I don't have a problem with players making money off their likeness when it comes to jersey sales, autographs, appearances and such.  However, I think it's going to, if not already turn in to schools straight up just buying players.  Hearing RGIII explain it as it's nice for players to make some living wage money while talking about Caleb Williams renting a private jet for his OL to go to the Heisman ceremony is laughable.  Great gesture by Williams and he certainly can afford it.  Wouldn't call that living wage money though.  That's professional athlete money.

I'm torn...for anyone with a NIL, they're on scholarship.  If NILs are gonna be a thing, then those guys should give their scholarships up.  There's plenty of kids on the roster who aren't on scholarship that would make better use of the free opportunities.

That holding penalty on Dickerson is probably the worst call/no call of the entire season. The Goedert no face mask was bad but the ref could have had a bad angle or something. Calling holding on Dickerson just made no sense at any level.

If they truly meant to call it on him then yes, it was discussed that Mailata might have been the actual guilty party.  I haven't seen the replay.

Yup.  And there should be a limit to it as well.  The argument was always 'they need food money'.   Food money can't afford renting a plane.

It’s funny how the pendulum has swung from speculating about Devonta Smith wanting a potential trade due to not enough targets to how AJ Brown will feel if Smith out targets him.

People worry too much.

That’s one of a handful plays I saw. If it was meant to be on Mailata, it was really ticky tack.

The argument for food money is a weak one too.  Most of these D1 football/sports programs have their own chefs and can have whatever meal they want, whatever supplements they want and whenever they want.  They have their own personal barbers, get free clothing, shoes and whatnot.  A D1 player on full scholarship doesn't need anything else handed to them.  They have everything they need and then some.

Not worried, just looking at and wondering about the situation.  Something worth watching.  Probably turns in to nothing.

I agree.  Its weak, but it was the best they had.  It would really help the kids at the lower levels far more, but then again... most of those kids don't get athletic scholarships anyway.   My nephew plays D-III basketball.  He has an academic scholarship that covers some of his tuition... but he's paying the rest out of pocket, not even getting food.  He's an RA to help cover some of the costs.  (That's how that school does it... their athletes are RAs so that they can get free room and board... but they have other responsibilities in addition to the sport, because of that.)

Which is even crazier...I work at a D1 college and the athletes are pampered.  IDK, I just look at it as you're getting a free ride to something that 90% of the people they're in school with are going to accrue a massive debt to get.

Yes.  Their college education is worth over a quarter million dollars these days... plus room and board... and a lot more perks.

I know the announcers mentioned it.  From what I saw, neither did anything wrong.
