Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Yeah i had a feeling it was TO. Seeing fantastic play by smith. I’d argue he’s been the best WR over the team the last 5 weeks that’s saying a lot cause brown is still really good. and I’d argue in the nfl top 5. He’s had some ridiculous catches

DJax did it in three out of 4 games played (he missed one week due to injury) in 2009.

Harbaugh where is he going? Cardinals?

The outrage is justified. The timing gives the Packers an advantage, which is precisely what the league purportedly tries to avoid.

A theoretical advantage. I believe the Lions will play hard and play to win regardless.

It’s funny how the pendulum has swung from speculating about Devonta Smith wanting a potential trade due to not enough targets to how AJ Brown will feel if Smith out targets him.

People worry too much.

It seems Smith had started getting targets in the areas where Quez used to be.  Bubble screens and deep balls.

And Quez is getting Smiths possession WR targets.

Quez is a great deep threat and even a very good intermediate WR with great body control for tough catches.  But he's clearly not a possession WR who knows how to box out defenders for tightly covered receptions.

I like the way they are using Smith now.  But Quez will not succeed in this role.  They should look to swap him out for a big slot if they want that position to run these routes.

I doubt it.  With no QB and very little except Jonathan Taylor.  Not to mention a weird, goofy owner.

Big money and personnel power would entice Harbaugh, it seems.

I’m still trying to process who I would be cheering for in a TB vs DAL 4/5 wildcard game.  Guess I would have to cheer for Brady so that the Eagles might get their chance to retire him the following week

I would love nothing more than for the boys to go one and remain one of the handful of franchises that are winless vs Brady

Given money is the same and personnel power is the same, broncos or colts?

Maybe he stays home? Even with the resurgence, if GB wins Sunday night it’ll be all 3 years Dan Campbell couldn’t make the playoffs.

I would probably keep him but Detroit may have other intentions

This is Campbells second year. He’s not going anywhere after what they did this year vs last year.

I know the announcers mentioned it.  From what I saw, neither did anything wrong.

Both looked clean.  Dickerson's was a beautiful block.  Mailata's was merely good.

No dominant team heading into the playoffs , I wouldn’t be shocked if any team beat any team .

I could see Denver.

PSU player just yawned on em

I’d be pretty shocked if your team beat any team.

Reason why they put it in the late afternoon time slot is cause eagles, Dallas and niners can all get the 1 seed. There’s a story of "potential drama” unfolding all at the same time. Can’t have it at the same time if dallas vs Washington and eagles vs giants at 1 pm. as SF is home to Arizona. They are never going to move SF vs. Az to 1pm (est) time slot as it would be a 10am start in SF. So that’s why you are getting dallas, eagles and niners all in that slot. And if they just did eagles and Dallas games early and left SF late then if the eagles won then SF is not going to play anyone and it becomes completely meaningless

That SF game wouldn't be worthwhile watching whether the 49ers are going for it or not.  Cardinals are awful with a HC that is about to be fired after the year.  I just don't see much intrigue in that #1 seed chase.  I think the chase for the #7 seed is far more appealing and exciting because two of the 3 teams are playing each other and it's do or die for all of 3 teams involved in that #7 seed chase.

Amazingly enough he only had 1 100 yard game in that stretch

Hmm I guess I overestimated the legend of Fulgoat.

Kevin Curtis should count. He had 363 in 3 games. Let’s just ignore that game sandwiched in between.

Well the big money machines got greedy monetizing the kids before they left.  A bit dated, but Tebow is a perfect example.  I was in the Deep South back in his college days, the amount of Tebow jersey's you saw was ridiculous.

I agree some of those kids get a little exploited... BUT... they can feel good that they pave the way for the rest of the athletics programs to allow the other D1 athletes to get a free education.  AND... they get access to the boosters alumni organizations to help place them in jobs when they get out.  They are 'taken care of' pretty well.

Season is over now. Damnit

Maybe for a quarter. But why risk starters getting injured in a meaningless game when they have to go on the road the next week mostly likely against SF

I agree. I think it is a huge risk for the Gmen to play starters when they will be facing a very hungry and angry Eagles team that needs the win to win the NFC East and keep HFA. I wonder which team Daboll hates more, the cowgirls or the Eagles.

Nope... haven't seen that from him.

Colts, hands down.  Broncos just dug themselves a deep hole.  Colts have some pieces to build around.
