I don’t think?

There's some urban legends about Mel Blount hits leading to deaths that were covered up, but I think that was just lionizing.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

It's Terrifying.

There's no way to legislate danger out of the game, so you have to hope for the best.

I’m legitimately sick to my stomach - awful

Don't feel bad about either because we don't get AJ with CeeDee and Smith or Higgins and Smith.

... grumble grumble, Witten over LJ = SBs.

My biggest issue wasn’t them not trading up. I said then if Jefferson is there and you don’t love him then fine. However maximize the value of him being there and that pick cause teams behind you really wanted him. They didn’t want too cause they thought reagor would go before they’d be up again. I didn’t think reagor was some can’t miss prospect so i was fine if they missed out.

Oh no... Administering CPR on the field is BAD news.    Really bad news.

Can’t believe this…so horrible

Terrifying. Reminds me of what happened to Christian Ericsson for any soccer fans

Heart attack maybe? Stroke? Seemed more like that than a football injury….but I’m just completely speculating

We're in the moment so overreactions are natural, but...

we might be seeing the beginning of the end for this sport.

Before the season and through about half the season it was schedule schedule schedule. The Eagles play in the best division and they faced the NFC North who has 3 teams alive for the playoffs going into week 18. Even the Steelers are still alive. The NFC East has the best record for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams. The division is +20 in win/loss.

10 of the Eagles 17 games were against teams that are still alive for the playoffs. (NY x2, Dallas x2, Min, Pit, Jax, Ten, GB, Det)

The 49ers faced 5 teams still alive and the only one above .500 annihilated them (KC) (Sea x2, Tampa, Miami)

But, the last two games have been more like pre-season football than gearing up for the playoffs. Bills and Bengals are playing at the playoff level intensity MNF. The only unit playing at that level on the Eagles is the Dline. I hope our young coaches have not misjudged how hard it can be to turn the engine back up to full throttle after the past two efforts. The hope is that they are prepping as if this is a do or die game and come out playing at playoff level intensity. If they are flat, our coaches have created the situation with their decisions in the past two games, IMO.

Heartbreaking situation in the Bills Bengals game.

If a player passes away on the field, do you keep playing the game? What does that say?

It was Howie's low point. I think he was worse than that 25 year old OL they drafted in round 1. Howie has done a bunch of good but Raegor was a z- pick.

Prayers to the player on his family.

I think that hit may have either caused a cardiac event or a rupture of the aorta.  Horrific

I’m no doctor but I don’t know that this one could have been prevented by rule changes

You can’t continue this game can you?

Headed to the hospital

He's being loaded in the ambulance, so he's not dead. Thank God.

Don't know how Bills/Bengals players continue playing this game after that.

I would push this game to tomorrow night. You can't expect players to play after that.

It certainly seems like something unrelated to the play that just took place, but could have been exacerbated by it.  Who knows...

Ambulance is off the field now.  Players back to their respective sidelines.   Can the game actually continue after something like this?

I don’t think that means anything unfortunately
