That was my interpretation of it. I didn’t pick up anything suggesting it shouldn’t be. 

However, he probably shouldn’t just tweet anything at all for takes right now.

Given the circumstances... they've done as well as can be expected... likely better.  Believe it or not, Booger has been quite good.  He is sharing what he would be thinking as a player in this situation.  Schefter has very little to share on it, same with Suzy.  But, Booger knows what its like to see a teammate have a traumatic injury, and how to come back from something like that... similar to what happened with Josh Sweat yesterday.  But, this is completely different, and something likely none of the players (or coaches) on either team have ever experienced.  How to come back and get emotionally ready to do this again... I can't imagine.  This is just a game.  

Not that it matters but man talk about a series of unfortunate events in one stadium

Could be ruptured aorta from the hit. That happened to the CB the raiders drafted some years ago.

Or could have been some undiagnosed arrhythmia.

I really am still optimistic and hopeful he’s going to be OK.

I don’t like the lack of information, because I’m sure there is an enormous push to provide some good news.  However, much of this is in the HIPAA vault now.

Seems almost impossible for an aortic rupture from a hit like that.  That usually comes from massive trauma.

They made the right call.

Any time something serious in sports or the world happens, people look for reasons to attack other people and honestly, people who do that IMO are often just as egregious as the people they go after. People use tragedy as a time to virtue signal and bring attention on to themselves, which is pretty gross in and of itself. To use a tragedy to try and look cool or righteous online.

Not every person on the planet is going to go crawl into a hole and not talk about anything other than that tragedy. If people want to handle it that way, fine. Nothing wrong with that. But everyone has different emotional capacities, and some can both be saddened and hurt by an incident and also discuss things tangentially related to it.

Attacking them for it solves absolutely nothing. Zero. Major pet peeve of mine.

Now, if someone were to go "durrr... who cares, replay the game!" That's one thing. But so many times during traumatic incidents like tonight I see people get attacked over innocuous stuff. It's why social media is so toxic, it encourages this garbage.
