I am highly doubtful Lane can go. We need a plan

The plan is Driscoll.

I'm starting to wonder if Dillard/Mailata should have been getting consideration with all of the meaningless snaps they played last week.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I'm pretty sure the NFL and the players' association have agreements in place, insurance, etc that would assure he would be taken care of for the rest of his life; if he can't play again.

No, I think the injury payment is his salary up to $2 million the following season if he cannot play football under the CBA.  The exception would be if he negotiated some other higher injury guarantee which is doubtful for a 6th round rookie.  The medical is covered, I think, on a lifetime basis.  He would be entitled to whatever state law provides for workers' compensation claims in New York State or possibly Ohio. Some states have caps on the number of weeks of disability benefits depending.  He could also have private coverage for the injury like a separate insurance policy that pays him based on a disabling injury.  The benefits under the CBA aren't bad for employees.  It's definitely not a guarantee of a lifetime of support.

Pushing back everything would benefit the Eagles so much for the playoffs. Getting all of these guys back would be great

It benefits every team. They all have injured guys who would benefit from the extra rest.

I would rather see us win Sunday, get the bye and have every other team in the conference have to play the following week. With CGJ and Hurts coming back, I think we are as good as we are going to get. Lane's going to have to play through pain regardless, and Maddox seems unlikely to play at all if he got surgery.

I guess that makes sense.  Even with that, he'll likely be covered medically for the rest of his life plus a good amount of $$ coming from other sources.

mentioned it earlier in the week but if we go by the visor rules, Siposs isn't coming back this year

The fact that they seem reluctant to try Mailata over at RT and Dillard over at LT makes be believe they don't think Mailata is ready for the switch.

Social media brings out the best and worst in people.  I often wonder what our world would be like if we never had it.

I can answer that......alot better.

Is social media good for certain things? Sure but it also allows a free forum for anonymous people to bring out hate and negativity and people will eat it all up.

Go get that job at ESPN and blow em all off the table.

They need a reboot anyway, you're just the guy...rather hear you than those Bozos...you make us all laugh......

I like paying attention to point spreads that scream something about the oddsmakers knowing something that the rest of the public doesn't know. USC only being favored by 2 points against Tulane the other day even though they're the superior team and probably romp 9 times out of 10 was one of those. The Lions being favored against the Vikings last month was another one. It's not sure science, but more times than not they're usually on point.

Them having the Eagles currently favored by 14 points tells me they think this game is going to be a blowout even though the Eagles haven't been playing good football the past two weeks. They're assuming Hurts will play and the Giants won't be playing anyone. They would not have them favored that much if Minshew was the starter. Reminds me of the Pittsburgh game where they had them as 11.5 point favorites.

It dropped to 11.5 but I don't think it means anything just yet.

Edit: nvm, that's just one book. Most are still 14.

The left-right thing is wild… Dillard has been here nearly 4 years and nope. When they look to draft Lane’s/Isaac’s replacement- I guess they better make sure they have some experience on the right…

It's still at 14 on Fan Duel and most other books. SI is the only one that has it at 11.5

I guess they assume Hurts is playing and the Eagle come out blazing...

...remains to be seen...

Maybe he was running LOG routes on those slants… smh.

So does anyone else think Goedert is still banged up? They aren't utilizing him much and seem to be lining him up at WR more than ever. Feels like they are coaching to protect him a little bit.
