Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Still day time here in Cali.  Sex is much better in the daylight rather than the dark.

That very much depends on the people involved

By the way, it wasn’t until about 1970 that the league counted a tie, as far as winning percentage is concerned, as a half win/half loss. Prior to then, they were excluded from the math. Thats why 7-3-2 would calculate to .700 rather than .667, like a rational person would calc it.

Real world application...ties should count as a loss.  Neither team could win...so f em.

Injuries are the primary concern for the team, not coaching.  The Niners are currently the media's darlings -- was Shanahan an idiot because they were losing games early in the season to Chicago, Denver, and Atlanta in the first 6 weeks?  It was injuries.

Get the starting QB back into the lineup, along with Gardner-Johnson and reassess how the team looks.  If Hurts can't go this Sunday, it's fair to say we've not been told the entire truth on the extent of his injury.

I know that 2017 might be an outlier, but coaching is a huge concern.  I might be one of the few with this opinion, but Shanahan has multiple personality disorder with his system.  It's all over the place and without having a true identity, they're prone to woes like they've continually had in the playoffs.  With CMC, the pressure is taken off just get Deebo the ball now.  So we will see.

In terms of Hurts, I'm almost 100% sure that shoulder injury has been lingering for a lot longer than his last game.  It's fairly evident watching him the games previous that he was having arm/shoulder issues.

Yup.  I can't tell you the number of times I was regaled with the hilarious tale of the failure of the 1964 Phillies.  Always cracks me up.

Or any of the 2009-201whatever Phils teams.

Well played Mike.  That leaves me touch, and I have been frequently told that sense is a key part of high quality sex.

I would say something to you , but one of you people is on the take, a rat

Ummm...there is no way in hell the Eagles are going to use a top ten pick on a running back. Just ain't happening so please let's stop suggesting it. They're taking a lineman (probably defensive but offensive is a possibility) or a cornerback. That's it.

Look at his throwing motion the few games leading up, his motion was loopy...release high.  He had a lot of balls just die.  I brought it up numerous times during the period.

this is correct.

I know the Damar Hamlin situation isn't over yet but it seems to me that he's cleared some serious hurdles and is on the way to recovery.  This seems to be a bit of overkill.  Usually patches are for deceased, especially one of that size.  I could be on board with maybe some sort of small sticker on the back of the helmet but sheesh.  It was a scary incident that we hope to never see again, but he's breathing on his own, FaceTiming with family, friends and the team.  Maybe he gave them his blessing to honor him.  I dunno, just seems like overkill to have a patch that large.

Another NFLer is still fighting for his live in the ICU after saving his kids from drowning...anyone want to do something for him?

It's almost like the QB being used as a power back so frequently has implications in his ability to throw the ball in the future.  It's almost like this might have been predictable.

It is an extremely rare situation and it's just for his teammates and to let him know they are thinking about him.

Different situation but doesn't Nick put players numbers that are injured on his visor?

Now if the whole league did that maybe that's an overkill.

It is 100% a rare situation and I'm not being critical of their decision to honor him, just the way they are going about it.  Just seems obscenely large for a guy who gave them a pep talk today.

50+ people were gun downed in LV, quarter sized sticker on the back of the helmet.  Just for comparison of another situation.

Same thing with UVA.  Very small helmet sticker for 3 players who were murdered this year.  I can show a lot of examples of much much smaller memorials for people who have passed away.

People are nuts about Damar Hamlin because social media tells them they are supposed to be nuts about Damar Hamlin right now. This is our society now.

Cut away from facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. and live like Seinfeld is still the top show in the US. Politics don't matter to people like you and me. Your entire reality exists only in your head.

Everything you know about every person, every event, every thing only exists as it exists in your own mind. Every color, every feeling, smell, or taste only exists as your own mind tells you it exists. Think about it.
