Cannot believe there are people who actually believe this. The "if X happens, then it's not our year" people are the most insufferable of Eagles fans.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Yup…completely moronic take.

Didn't they say as recently as today that Hamlin is still in critical condition? He looks wildly okay to me. Situation is a little weird. Glad he's doing well.

It was all a hoax!

The real Hamlin died in a bicycle accident in 2020, and to spare the public from grief, the Bills replaced him with a Hamlin look-alike, subsequently communicating this secret through subtle details of their play calls.

I'm wondering how the Bengals being awarded a division title that they hadn't clinched yet is unfair to the Bengals. It sure seems to me like the Bengals got the better end of that part of the resolution.

I already explained it to you.  They lost the chance at a #1 seed when theyve already beaten KC and were beating the Bills.

Now they will probably have to go on the road to KC in the 2nd round, a team they beat head to head on the way to earning the #1 overall seed---until something completely out of their control took place and the NFL made up new rules.

You guys can write this off all you want, but if this happened to the Eagles we'd all be furious. And imagine that happening pre-2017 before we had won a SB.

Thats how its unfair to the Bengals

How could the Bengals get the #1 seed considering KC is about to win and finish 14-3?  CIN if they won last week and this week would still only be 13-4.

Life’s not fair. Who cares. Your sportsball game is a stupid game

Zero percent chance youre saying this if it qas the Eagles getting screwed because another teams player had a heart attack

The Bengals walked off the field and decided to not continue their game. Where exactly is that allowed in the rule book?

You cant be serious with this

If the Chiefs can grind this out this will be a very quick game.

Crazy that Reid still has Mahommes out there.

I know we all laughed at the Giants, including myself, when they drafted Kadarius Toney. But wow, he looks eerily similar to Dante Hall in that uniform with those moves. Kid has rare movement skills. He's got a long way to go but man was he blessed with some skills.

I would 100% chance be pointing to a game like the home Monday night game when they couldn’t beat Heineken.

A guy almost died. I don’t consider the Eagles as part of my identity. Not the way many fans do anyway

Why is mahhomes still playing..😬

I cant even express how stupid the "life aint fair" take is on this situation.

Sports are supposed to be fair. Thats the entire point of sports.   Go watch wrestling if you like stuff like this.

Maybe if Joe Burrow comes out of the bleachers tonight and snashes Mahomes in the head with a steel chair, Ill agree and say "hey life aint fair, sorry your QB has a brain hemorrhage, thats the breaks"

Hamlin apparently tweeting. Happy to see how he is recovering.

The Bengals are a game behind Kansas City. Period. That’s why they are not getting the top seed.

Boo hoo. Nothing is fair. What’s the most unfair is almost dying making a routine tackle.

I can’t even express how stupid it is that people really care all that much. Every team this is effecting has at least one game they should have won.

$hit happens, move on

Hindsight sucks, but they also seem to have found one in George Karlaftis.  While he hasn't exactly lit the world on fire, getting him at pick 30 looks like it's going to be a steal.  I was 100% anti-Karlaftis because he's underwhelming as an athlete.  However, he was nothing but steady at Purdue.

5.5 sacks, 10 QB hits, 7 TFL and 7 batted passes.  All while being a rotation piece.  With the Eagles severe lack of depth at DE and their huge investment at DT and ability to find FA DT mid-year, trading back and taking Karlaftis rather than trading up for Davis would have been a fantastic move.

Chris Jones is a beast.

We were 3 games up, too, what happened?

You just wont acknowledge that this is flatout unfair.  Very bizarre and totally would not happen if it was the Eagles.

Pretty much. I think there is a really good chance we trade down as well.

I will say, I think we could see a shocker at 31 (or whatever it ends up being). A RB like Bijan Robinson assuming Sanders moves on would make a lot of sense.

I’ll also throw this curve ball out there: don’t be surprised if Howie takes a flyer on QB Anthony Richardson if he drops to our late first rounder. It’s clear to me that our entire offense gets disrupted without having a running threat at QB.

This is a running team built on that option action from the QB position and things just don’t work right without it.

We also know how highly the eagles value the QB position. Richardson has super star potential, but obviously needs work, so he’d be a good fit learning behind Hurts for his rookie year. We can get a few years of elite backup QB play out of him and then flip him for extra draft picks towards the end of his contract.

Richardson is barely draft able after this year...

Yeah youre so tough man, school of hard knocks.

But this is sports and sports are supposed to be fair.  You should have saved your tough guy speech for some other time.

Compared to you I seem pretty tough.

Dude, the Chiefs won 14 games. The Bengals could never get to 14 wins even if they had beaten the Bills. This isn’t complicated.

We're a top 3 offense because Jalen is a good runner & passer.

This offense can still be top 10 if the backup QB is just a competent passer. The problem was Minshew was neither a good runner, not passer vs. the Saints. This offense would also function with Mariota, but it would resemble what the Falcons do.

I keep seeing talk of Mariota being a viable option, it's like nobody who's suggesting it watched him play his entire career.  He. Is. Terrible.
