We had Owens for 2 seasons.... one he got hurt in and the other he was being an idiot

Chris Carter - only had him for a few seasons, and he wasn't fully developed until after we traded him.

Alshon? He was good for one season here.  He dropped the pass that ended our playoffs in his second year here.

DJax/ Maclin- decent WR's neither was a true number 1.

carmichael?  Went most of his years on a bad team with no QB.

With Devonta and AJ we finally have 2 very good WR's ....

You’re forgetting Mike Quick. He was probably the most talented other than TO. His career was also cut short by injury.  Fred Barnett and Calvin Williams were also decent for a few years. I think Barnett’s career also was hampered by an injury.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Besides Mitchell’s 4th and 26, he ran his mouth better than his play.

He did have that TD catch off LJ Smith’s fumble in the Minnesota playoff game 🤷‍♂️

I think moral of the story is we've had some very good WRs come thru the franchise, whether they were here for many years or only a couple.

I'm sure some or most were capable of getting 100+ catches and 1,000+ yards In a season.  The real embarrassment should be the lack of great QBs.  McNabb is probably regarded as our franchises best QB and he wasn't great or elite.  He was very good.

We've never been able to have that Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Mahomes, Rodgers type of elite QB.  That's the issue.

I knew it was all McNabb's fault.  I just didn't want to be the one to say it

Kevin Kolb would have been elite if he didn't get hurt.

The intention of this discussion was not to blame anyone, just pointing out fans have blinders on and drink the k00l @id over the single season reception record, or 4000 yards passing or ( 2 ) 1000 yard WR's, when those records are not remotely impressive.

Denver with 10.  Followed by the Colts, Cardinals, and Steelers with 9.

Edited:  I originally had the Oilers and Titans combined for Houston.

I didn't go back that far, because no one waqs catching 100 balls a year 6 decades ago.

My man Lionel Taylor says otherwise!

Our passing game was consistently bad when Mcnabb had his pre-TO receivers.  We won games with a top 2 defense and an elite OL.  Mcnabb never really did any more than one might expect when he had the bad WRs.  And then he had good ones for the back half of his career.

Hurts and Sanders practicing today.

While it may not be impressive because of what other franchises have done, it is impressive because it has never been done with this franchise. That is what makes all these stats tremendous and a testament to how good this team has been this year.

At the same time, it may be more of a commentary on just how awful this franchise really has been since its inception.

Excited but also cautious that he is actually ready (yes, totally inconsistent with my position yesterday).

It's on, baby.  Let's seal our fate and NOs, along with the rest of these losers in the NFC.

41-23 Eagles, baby.

QB1 calls his own number or keeps it 7 times or less, INCLUDING sneaks.

Irving Fryer, yes Quick/Barnett, DeSean wasn't too shabby

Jalen to the rescue.

I still don't think Hurts plays this week, as it seems they are being very cautious with him and not having him run through ball security drills. Encouraging he's going to get a LP at least.

I’d be pretty shocked if he doesn’t play to be honest.  Unless Josh Dobbs finds a way to beat the boys tonight

There is also the concern of having too much time off

I think the point being made is that the story is immoral.

Yeah, I took you ( my only one) off Ignore.

Your shtick must be seen to be believed...

With all this talk about WRs, remember in the mid 2000's when the holier than thou people used to preach how investing in WR isn't important.

Seems to be an extinct narrative these days.

Joe Banner driven propaganda.
