Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

If this guy doing the anthem doesn't embody Jacksonville I don't know who would.

Great idea to play the anthem on guitar.

Should do it more often.

I already explained it to you.  They lost the chance at a #1 seed when theyve already beaten KC and were beating the Bills.

Now they will probably have to go on the road to KC in the 2nd round, a team they beat head to head on the way to earning the #1 overall seed---until something completely out of their control took place and the NFL made up new rules.

You guys can write this off all you want, but if this happened to the Eagles we'd all be furious. And imagine that happening pre-2017 before we had won a SB.

Thats how its unfair to the Bengals

You are laser focused on how this specific solution is unfair to the Bengals.  Do you have an alternative solution that eliminates that unfairness and isn’t unfair to teams other than the Bengals?

Because it would complete an epic collapse from best team in the NFL to a first round exit

Late to this party but, seriously, you need to check your  sack, it may be empty...

I've been reading your stuff...puberty is coming, it'll be tough, but we've all gone through it...mostly...

Go Doug! This game on now is pretty much a playoff game correct?

That would have been offensive PI on the eagles, since they only call it on them and no other team

Richardson is barely draft able after this year...

He’s the 5th ranked QB on just about every draft website and no one has him getting out of the second round.

Look, he’s a RS Sophomore with 1 year starting experience. He’s going to be drafted because he’s 6’4” 235 with 4.4 speed and a cannon for an arm. It’s not about what he did in college but what he might become that will get him drafted.

Yup. Winner wins the division and automatic playoff birth.

Aren’t you the same moron who said the saints shouldn’t bother to show up last week??

Neither Allen nor Jackson were ever as inaccurate as Richardson.

I always enjoy the "sky is blue” response because science shows it isn’t so but also explains why it is perceived as such by us.

No Politics, but Science? Awesome.

Light refraction, prismatic atmospheric effects, Alien Super weapons deployed from afar to negate our satellite constellation?

The "Sky is not Blue, It"s gray, or just plain overcast all the time"...ask anybody in California...:P

Eagles beat the crap outa the Midgets second string...Football!

What makes you think there's a 'good chance' Richardson goes top 10-15?  He would be dumb to come out this year, he's not even draft able.

His physical talent alone virtually guarantees he goes in the first two rounds.

Be sure not to pull any punches.

Your description sounds very 21st Century … a bit more complex than his has been.

It's actually very 20th century and I am not trying to be insulting in any way. Is rigor when it comes to articulating established and accepted scientific theories and explanations confrontational? Maybe it is in this age when opinion rules the day. Here is a very good reference dated 1961-1964: https://www.feynmanlectures.caltech.edu/

Haha Thanks for the disparaging comment, and remembering...You have a special way about you...

Yes.  The scattering of the photons to me isn't the same at all as transmission by absorption and reemission, nor by absorbing some wavelengths while reflecting others, as a 'blue shirt' does.

Reference:  I teach this for a living.

I defer to your Academia, Sir, however , the sky is, in fact, everything BUT blue...

Correct.  Winner gets the AFC South crown.   Loser goes home.

Like Tyree Jackson did?

Jackson and Allen were successful in their CFB careers though.   Alen's concerns did involve accuracy, but not to the degree of Richardson (and that small school thing)

And Richardson is the same size as Allen but significantly faster. He’ll go top 50 almost guaranteed if he comes out just based on the physical tools. If NFL teams could design a body in a lab to play QB, it would basically be AR15.

Some coach is going to say, "I can develop this kid,” and if they’re right they have a super star.

Maybe he drops out of the first round, but then it just becomes an easier pick for GM’s thinking they get a cheap swing of the bat at a franchise QB.

Playing for Buffalo is a bit different than Florida. Richardson actually had good games against nationally ranked opponents.

Small sample size.

Only needing a small sample size is kind of the point here.  But what is the small sample size you are referring to…That I only gave one example, or the amount of games that he has played?

The very first thing a NFL player can show is that he belongs in the league. That he can fill a role and have value to a team. Many draft picks never even do that. Some even high 1st round selections never do that (see Zach Wilson).  I guarantee you that he has already elevated his value from Mr Irrelevant to a third or fourth round value in his limited time playing.

Cmon Doug, let’s get it together

New young guy, face of the league, checks all the boxes, burning out early?? Say it ain't so, Roger...

When did the prevailing thinking that light was/is a wave move to light is photon particles?
