Week two of dope play calling

2 in a row but 3 out of 4. Bears game was atrocious as well, and you can argue 4 in a row if you want to count defensive playcallijg against Dallas

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I get the frustration, but we're clearly not showing/using our best stuff.

1 TD in a half against backups is not exactly reassuring.

Point is... they haven't given him much opportunity, but he's been good in those situations.

And why not run the ball on 1st and goal while the Giants are using timeouts?   Run the clock, protect Hurts, force them to use their timeouts.    What's the downside?

The downside is they can't show off how healthy hurts is, of course

I’m starting to wonder if this is our best.

The all-time sack record remains Reggie White... 21 sacks in 12 games.

Some NFL orchestrations are more visible than others...

That one sucked. Strahan didn't earn it, Bradshaw gave it away...as instructed... too bad, so sad...optics.

I'm keeping starters in until 4th quarter

At this point, it's clear the Dillard can't be worse than Driscoll.

at RT, Dillard certainly can be worse. We have seen it.

At LT, hes solid. He should be in there with Mailata at RT. And it should have been done this week so they had time to get acclimated for playoffs.

Cause Im sure Lane will try to play. But Im not sure he will last for the whole post-season.

It is not.  This is our B level... maybe.

You'd hope to look more crisp after the last 2 weeks, especially against the backups of the NYG.  Every Eagles starter besides Lane Johnson is in on O.  They should be rolling them even on vanilla playcalling.

You can’t be serious.

running QB not running kinda hurts the offense. Quite a bit.

Idk at times we just ignore our running game that is arguably dominant when we get it going. If we wind up facing a team like GB again that’s the game plan to beat them cause they stink against the run. I’m hoping they remember it.

If we hold them to zero until the half - I’m thinking give Hurts one more drive, hopefully get a TD then put in Minshew.  Hurts is beginning to take unnecessary hits, late hits, sacks etc.

We should be able to beat their backups with Minshew and a 16 point spot.

gonna have to. Not enough of a lead.

With Driscoll at RT, Hurts seems to be under too much pressure to finish drives.

That problem may not go away in the playoffs.

We have 1 td against backups and theyre getting home on every single blitz, yea I'd say getting clowned is fair. Luckily their backups on offense aren't doing as well

Well, they completely ignored it last week.  Let's hope.

One drive in Quarter 3 should get another score making it 3 possessions...

Hey look another dropped INT.

Edwards stinks

So you want to assume that the best the offense has looked all year is just effortlessly sitting in their back pocket waiting to be unleashed in the playoffs.

I also look at it this way. The Eagles are making an effort for hurts not to have to run. Even when he has chances he’s not doing so like he would do. They don’t want him taking more unnecessary hits right now in a game they believe they can win without him doing so.

If this was a playoff game I’m guessing the playbook is more open because you’re more willing to run him and take those hits cause of the magnitude of the game.

Seems overkill.  Hurts isn't doing what Hurts does either.  Playing with one leg behind his back.
