His early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when the flying sausages came out in '22, I think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically. The whole portraits had a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the pictures a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Koy has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

I don't think I ever did enough to commit to being in the right place at the right time.  I was willing to go early, fish the tides, etc, but I never moved beach to beach and only went on days that I had time.

It really wouldn't be fair to you if I picked his lowest rushing yardage season.

2000, McNabbs highest rushing yardage season, the Eagles ranked 17th in total offense.

 

So find me a season that the Eagles would have had a 100 catch WR, but didn't due to passing offense being replaced by QB rushing.

My argument is that if you want to look at historical O output stats then you need to look at the overall context. On average you’d expect a team with high QB rushing yards on average to have a drop off somewhere else on average. I do agree that we haven’t had the best WRs generally speaking but we’ve had some good ones. It hasn’t all been chopped liver. 
 

As for QB, we’ve had some of the best dual threat guys but that formula hasn’t panned out in top echelon level QB play too often yet. I think Steve Young is the best modern example of a guy that climbed the summit. Randall, McNabb, Vick, Lamar, Cam, and others have fallen short or just short. Others like Wilson and Mahomes don’t quite meet the rush levels in my book. Hurts is on the way to being the next Young but of course needs to win the SB to get there.
