You’ll be rooting for the Giants against the Vikings?

The way the boys have owned the eagles in recent years yes. If NYG/DALL/SF all won then DALL would go to SF.

Considering possible path; 7th seed wining seems like "easier” path.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Wouldn’t root for either team…just think they will win.

I would love to see the Eagles handle business there, not the Giants.

My argument is that if you want to look at historical O output stats then you need to look at the overall context. On average you’d expect a team with high QB rushing yards on average to have a drop off somewhere else on average. I do agree that we haven’t had the best WRs generally speaking but we’ve had some good ones. It hasn’t all been chopped liver.

As for QB, we’ve had some of the best dual threat guys but that formula hasn’t panned out in top echelon level QB play too often yet. I think Steve Young is the best modern example of a guy that climbed the summit. Randall, McNabb, Vick, Lamar, Cam, and others have fallen short or just short. Others like Wilson and Mahomes don’t quite meet the rush levels in my book. Hurts is on the way to being the next Young but of course needs to win the SB to get there.

As good as Hurts has been this season, he won't survive with his selfish play.  He was double Young's highest season high rush total 4 weeks ago.  He's got a long way to go before he's in the Elway/Young territory.  Elway being 1a as the GOAT at the position since Brady has an *.

49ers would beat Dallas I think.

I don’t understand what the hell happened to the Rams. It feels weird seeing them collapse.

Feels like they threw in the towel at around the mid point with the Stafford and Kupp injuries. I think they’ll try to make one more run next year before everything gets blown up there. They mortgaged the future of that team giving up all of their draft picks, and to their credit it won them a Super Bowl, but they’ll be paying that debt the next few years and I don’t think McVay stays to ride that out. Also it wouldn’t surprise me if Stafford retires in the offseason. Spinal cord contusion at his age would make me question coming back. He doesn’t have anything left to prove.

He already said he won’t retire because of it, although he could change his mind at some point.

I don't think I ever did enough to commit to being in the right place at the right time.  I was willing to go early, fish the tides, etc, but I never moved beach to beach and only went on days that I had time.

I fish the summer season from this lil girl. Betty Jean, built her from scratch in my Mom's vegetable garden over a winter.

Pile of lumber in my driveway, 6 months later, chasing fish...Mom's garden is 20ft. Betty Jean is 19ft 6"...

Everything but the mechanical systems and the Seat were fabbed up and installed in the back yard. All Mahogany, inside and out.

She's a heavy weather rig, for an Open Cockpit style. Lifeboat Bow rises against the waves, Reverse sheer transom deflects following seas..Inboard Motor Well allows for spilling the fishing nets over the Stern without entanglement. Original design was for Offshore work on the Outer Banks off Hatteras. I got the basic Hull Shape from Plans from the Cape Fear Museum in Wilmington, NC..took it from there.

We all have our hobbys, most of mine involves outdoor stuff. Coastal guy, so fishing and boating is front and center.

She was built in 2006, still looking high and tight, and still turning heads..Proud Skipper.

It seems even before Stafford got hurt this year he was awful. The Rams took a nosedive this year.

Wow.  That's incredible.  People on the blog are up to some interesting stuff.

I gave up my hobbies for my job, which essentially is my hobby.  Travel was the one thing I held on to, but after the first kid came, that had to be tempered a bit too.

That’s really something. I need a hobby.

The Cowboys are very good at beating backups who don't want to win (see the Eagles finale last year).

Titans with 4 penalties already

I haven’t looked into this too deeply, but are Titans resting starters, or do they have a swathe of injuries?

Surely this is a must win for them, to have a chance at the playoffs…are they basically rolling over and almost giving this game to Dallas even before kickoff? Seems a really strange thing to do, especially at home in front of your own crowd…

Don’t get it either.

Nope. Regardless of the outcome of this game and the Jaguars game this weekend, they play head-to-head next week and the winner is the AFC south champion.

Ah, I see…shame, doesn’t help us much! ☹️

No. I believe they are mathematically eliminated from a WC spot. The only chance to get to playoffs is to win division next week.

Dallas o-line holding like a motherFer...

That being said, this season of Thursday nights game have been historically bad. These games are pretty much unwatchable...

Not even watching this one. I know it'll just be a Cowboys slobber fest over playing a 3rd string QB.

There were a couple of great games.  But yeah a lot of mediocre and bad games but even some of the bad games had some thrilling action to them.

But they do have a lot of starters out so meh

Tenn is probably screwed anyway due to Tannehill injury

Dobbs is cooking now.
