I'm not sure if it is Redd Foxx or Herman Munster that comes to mind

That ball was out.

I think that was a fumble.

Shoutout to Haason Reddick. No one deserves a week off more than him. Guy was an absolute terror all year long. The most important player on this defense.

go back to the first few weeks of the season if you want to laugh at all the fans calling him a bust and hating on Howie.

DeVonta Smith finished with 95 catches for 1,196 yards as the 2nd WR.  It really took them a while to figure out how to use him.  They really tried to use him too much like a possession WR for the first half of the season.  There was that weird obsession with trying to make him a behind the LOS screen WR.  He had the huge game against Washington where he went off for 8 catches for 169 yards.  That game sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of his first 9 games.

During the first half of the season, he had games of:

Game 1- 0 for 0

Game 4- 3 for 17

Game 5- 10 for 87

Game 6- 5 for 44

Game 7- 5 for 23

Game 8- 2 for 22

Game 9- 6 for 39

First 9 games: 46 catches for 481 yards for 10.4 YPC.   If you take away the Washington game, his average drops down to 8 YPC.  I know you can't but again, looking at usage the first half, that game wasn't consistent.

Last 8 games: 49 catches 715 for 14.5 YPC.  Averages out to 6 for 90 per game.

If they continue to use DeVonta Smith like the 2nd half of the season, he should shatter Eagles record books. His 2nd half of the year averaged out for an entire season is 102 catches for 1,530 yards.

DeVonta Smith is just a baller and I can't wait to see him grow and continue to figure out the NFL game and become one of the top WR in the game, if he isn't already.

No way they play all three AFC games before the NFC games.  They will also have 1 from each conference on Saturday.

Maybe packers Niners Saturday night and Bills dolphins mid game on sunday

Hurts only completed 4 out of 10 passes to him. Hurts was pretty darn bad tonight.

65 passer rating. Worse than Davis Webb.

On WIP they were saying "Hurts was in a lot of pain”.   Apparently they were talking about it in the locker room.

And that’s one reason I was getting frustrated during the game because we should have been up by 3-4 scores so Minshew could have finished the game and rested Hurts.

Hurts took a ton of hits in the 2nd half, even grimacing after getting the first down on 4th and short.

None of that would have been necessary had they come out and played hard, tight, mistake feee football against the Giants’ practice squad in the first half.

Would anyone be upset if the Eagles dropped Book and signed Davis Webb to the roster? Well, besides Blankenship.

I like Amon Ra a lot; if Jameson pans out they’ll have a strong WR duo

Seems like this injury is quite a bit more significant than everyone thought, and is going to be an issue for the entire playoffs.

Hurts didnt play well enough in the 1st half to get to sit in the 2nd. Its too bad. But hopefully he will be ok with another 2 weeks of rest.  He didnt seem to take any other big hits there so hopefully not a bad setback.

Not at you, HE, just an observation...

In fairness, a lot of people had that same feeling with Jalen Hurts in April and May... ..

Time is the equalizer, give a guy a chance, right? Let him shine or fail....I offer Reed as example...

Get Hurts the best masseuses money can buy.

Watson is on Line 2 with deets.

The shot of his face was quick but Hurts was 100%  grimacing  after that QB sneak for sure.

He probably needs at least another 3 to 5 weeks to get back to 100%. I'm not convinced he's going to miraculously be 100% in 13 days after seeing him not looking right today.

Hurts had been bad the year prior. Reddick had double digit sacks the prior TWO years.

People were right to doubt hurts.

People only doubted Reddick because they hate Howie.

Missed the second half.  Went to a birthday party for my nephew instead.   Not a coronation for the 1 seed, or an 'impressive' win, but a win nonetheless.  Much better to get the win than to not get it.

So, the remaining question:  What injuries did we incur?  Anyone get dinged up?

apparently Hurts in a lot of pain. Scott with a possible concussion.

Not sure what happened with Dean heading back to the locker room.

My issue with Reddick was sacks in bunches and to many games with nothing.

This has been his most consistent season

Sort of destroys the narrative that he could have/should have played the last two games.   Saw them go for a QB sneak in the second half.   HATE IT more than I did all year.
