Saying hurts was playing in extreme pain all game

I could see a Seumalo extension. Shouldn't be any bank breaker. His teammates really seem to love him. Johnson will back for the next two years. Draft a OT project early on day 3.
RB could be drafted day 2 and you could sign a cheap vet, I mentioned Foreman from the Panthers.
If Howie doesn't go for another 1 year band-aid across from Slay you have to use a day 1 pick on CB it seems. There's not much there in terms of high upside outside DB's on this team so round 1 makes a lot of sense.
Very interesting and important off season. A ton of work to do with critical decisions looming.

I would say it could be a rip the band-aid off kind of year. If Kelce retires, let Cox, Graham, Sanders and Hargrave all go. That helps the cap.

Extend Hurts, Seumalo, Chauncey. But the team will take a step back and probably put a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of guys here. It's not this front offices style either to do something like this, so I doubt it.

Johnson may not be back for the next 2 games, let alone the next 2 years.  I think we need better than a project at RT.

Doesn't make me feel better about the divisional playoffs.

He choked hard in the SB when he had a #1 and he pretty much had excellent weapons for the balance of his career after that.

Who did he have comparable to TO (or even AJ Brown) "for the balance of his career”?

Know it's crazy talk, but a really good to great tackle prospect might be BPA at 31.

I think the big difference is Hurts has a real agent telling him that’s stupid.

Lamar’s agent is his mom

I don’t think it’s stupid at all, at least for Hurts. Jackson has had more significant injuries. If Eagles don’t want to give him what he wants the smart play is to say "fine. Let’s pickup negotiations once Jackson, Burrow and Herbert sign new deals.”

Fix is in if that's roughing the passer

This league is F’ing shady.

Terrible luck Detroit

That was a legit illegal use of hands to the face penalty.

Refs have called penalties on a TD and and INT for Detroit.

That’s 2 huge plays called back against the Lions so far. (The first was a bomb TD)

Yeah. The question is when was the flag thrown?

Maybe they retire(except Sanders) after a Super Bowl victory.

No non-free agent will ever get a fully guaranteed deal. It just won’t happen; asking for it will only create  discord between the player and the team until he reneges. Cousins got one and nothing changed with QB contracts afterward, and now Watson was effectively treated like a FA with the way the trade negotiations went as he was available to the highest bidder. We’ve already gotten deals since with QBs that have similar physical concerns such as Kyler, and they got regular deals.

I believe Lamar is making a huge mistake with this request, and it’s so ill-advised that he may be doing it to get out of Baltimore. No way Hurts does the same, even if he thinks he should

More like the Lions committed obvious penalties on a TD and interception.

Kevin Curtis and Donte Stallworth 😄

I dunno.  But, it was a legit penalty regardless.

Don't forget Reggie Brown.

I agree that both were penalties.

So then you want to use a 1st on a RT? That's certainly possible on day 1 or even 2 with this regimes thought process.

I think I'd rather sign an actual legit back up swing tackle rather than going that route though. Regardless Driscoll really should not be that guy. He needs to continue to grow, hit the weights and stay late in Stouts classes.

Sirianni saying Hurts was playing through a lot of pain makes me wonder how much 2 weeks will help

His arms won't get any longer though.  He's got short arms.
