I'm really curious how they'll look, at least on offense,  once the 1st playoff game gets here.

Kinda seemed like they were holding back some yesterday.  Wondering if that was on purpose to kind of preserve everyone, especially Jalen or if he's just really banged up that he can't.

The offense is tough to stop when they can mix and do everything.  But if Hurts ability to run and make plays that way isn't there that can be a problem.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

The Broncos have requested permission to speak with Dan Quinn and Raheem Morris. That doesn’t inspire much confidence.

With that defense, those would be great selections, IF they had the right offensive coordinator on their staff.

I don’t think they can do better than Goff anytime in the near future. Having a full season of Jameson Williams will help that

Detroit seems to have embraced the kid. Good for him. He ran down the entire sideline in Green Bay High-Fiving the Detroit faithful...after punching Rodgers' exit ticket...

Goff may have found a home. Lions Fans seem to be getting on board.

I think the first drive in the divisional playoffs will tell us a lot about where this run is headed.  Points on defense and a 3 and out on offense will create panic for me.  It’ll feel like the last 3 games are just how it’s going to be.  Quick punt on defense and a TD on offense and we’ll all feel like the real Eagles are back.

Good for Goff.  He's a pretty good QB.  He's always had the accuracy coming out of college.

Him and the Lions seem to be trending upwards while the team that gave up on him, the Rams are going in the opposite direction.  He has to feel kinda good about that.

Woke up this morning thinking "Would I take #10 overall from the Saints" in August...and the only conclusion I could come up with was yes.

Saints were a top 3 defense in the 2nd half of the season.

In 2020 (16 game season), the Cowboys went 6-10 and got the 12th pick.

7-10 and picking 10th is pretty good outcome. Also Saints could have won the South with a little better luck.

Naw. It’s a long game. Look at the NFCCG in 17.

I hope between job interviews, Gannon schemes up a way to have Slay or Bradberry line up in the slot on key plays.

McVay in his ear all day and all night may have been more of a hindrance to his game than a help.

He seems to be much more comfortable with Detroit's philosophies on O...

Eagle45 point stands about fan panic though. It will be tattergeddon! If first drive is 3 and out. Or can  you imagine if Dallas leads a 15 play, 9 minute death march on the opening drive?

I figure if we play DAL, we should stop messing around and have CGJ on Ceedee.

You can tell a lot about what type of game it’s going to be with the first two offensive drives with this team. I’ve given up any sort of hope or expectations that they are going to establish any sort of run game with the running backs in those drives. They have made it clear that they don’t want to grind out 15 play drives in the first quarter. Their modus operandi all season long has been to sprint off to a quick start with big chunk plays and that won’t change. That’s fine… but it has to work. It’s a boom or bust philosophy.

One thing I am confident about. Gannon is not going to bring any new wrinkles for the playoffs.

In fairness, they made a second half adjustment and took Lamb out of the game.  Only two catches and his TD was on Bradberry.

The Eagles opened the 2017 playoffs against the Falcons with a lost fumble, then gave up a long FG drive.

The Lions can't get rid of Goff; if they did that, his fiancee wouldn't come to the facility any more

You don’t want to shorten the game if you’re the better team. I used to relish a long slow scoring drive, but now I only prefer that outcome when Eagles are clearly outmatched.

Yeah and they came within 2 yards of losing the game, and the Foles statue vanishes into thin air.

Playoff football everyone

Giants. But if we had to play the Bucs, it would mean that Dallas lost, so that's pretty good too.

Sounds good - no 10 catches in the 1st half, please.

Did CGJ play some slot yesterday - can't quite remember, the game put me into a coma.

I think the offense would be able to manage Hurts not running if the OL could provide a clean pocket.  And I think the offense could (maaaaybe) manage Driscoll at RT if Hurts could run around everywhere.  Combine the 2 limitations and the offense sucks.  Fix both problems and it's the elite offense we saw all year.

See if it’s true , but I seen it a few different people saying it

also after game yesterday , a lions player ask for his jersey , and he said. Not this one I’m keeping it ,

Dallas playing on Monday is a bit of a break for the Eagles, as they seem to be the decisively most likely opponent.
