The Giants could beat the Vikings and Tampa could win but I agree.  I am expecting it will be Eagles Dallas.

I feel like there’s always one upset in the wild card round. I really don’t see any in the afc happening unless you consider jags/chargers an upset if the jags win. The nfc I’m guessing one goes down. I actually think the giants are the one I’d guess simply cause they’ve played Minnesota recently and nearly won.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

But, but, but he is a top reserve from Stoutland University.  No way he can get through waivers unclaimed.

NYG Minnesota is similar to Dallas / Tampa.

You've got a very talented, truly complete team with a massive penchant for choking against a truly crappy team that doesn't belong anywhere near the playoffs.  I suppose it could go either way, but I'd be surprised, in both instances, if the better team doesn't come out on top in the end.

"Wild Card Round"...aptly named...

We got really, really lucky yesterday. Saints dominated that game.

Kliff Kingsbury out. Not a big surprise here

Not surprised

If Dak wants to choke a game away, that Bucs defense may be opportunistic enough to take it.

And the cowboys D isnt great. The Bucs should be able to score a few points.

I could see an upset happening.

One upset, any upset, in the NFC wild card round drastically increases the Eagles' chances of making the SB.

Any upset either takes SF off the board or/and gives us a pretty crappy divisional opponent.

Anything that breaks up the likely Dallas --> SF pathway is HUGE.

Brady owns the cowgirls. Bucs win

AFC Playoffs:

(2) Buffalo 37, (7) Dolphins 10 -- no matter who the Phins' QB is

(3) Bengals 31, (6) Ravens 14 -- no matter who the Ravens' QB is

(4) Jaguars 21, (5) Chargers 17 -- because they're the Chargers

NFC Playoffs:

(2) 49ers 31, (7) Chickens 13 -- Niners beat a team with a winning record!!

(3) Vikings 27, (6) Giants 24 -- Giants unsuccessfully lobbied the NFL for a primetime game

(5) Turds 24, (5) Bucs 20 -- Brady gets the over on the O/U (4.5) gesturing to his WRs that they've run the wrong route instead of a lousy pass

Yeah, quick passing game (Brady) and running the ball might put the DAL defense on their heals quickly - try to hide the TB offensive line as far as that’s possible.

Hopefully our MVP is ready in 2 weeks. We miss you Lane

I'll throw out a scenario that's probably very unlikely, but something I thought about.

Bears have the #1 pick and their current brain trust did not draft Justin Fields. When you're #1 and have your pick of the QBs, it's always tempting. They're going to be scouting Young and Stroud out of due diligence and it's going to be hard for them to not become infatuated. A top QB is the new sexy toy for any GM.

Ravens have Lamar Jackson who's declined since his MVP season and wants a mega contract.

Bears take Young #1 overall

Ravens trade Lamar Jackson for picks

Ravens trade picks for Justin Fields who for them would essentially be a younger and cheaper Lamar Jackson

Far out there, but figured I'd throw it out.

If there is one upset in the NFC wild card round, I bet the Vegas odds of the Eagles going to the SB will be much higher this time next week than they are right now.  If SF is hosting a divisional playoff game and we are hosting Dallas, I bet you see a slight downtick in the odds.

Love to see Tampa come to the Linc in 2 weeks, the implications are Glorious...

Only one problem with this.

Lamar Jackson just played out his 5th year option and is a FA after the season.

They trade out of that pick

I was assuming franchise tag and trade. They'd absolutely find a taker, teams would line up for him, even with the recent injury stuff.

I still can't believe Dougie P figured out how to win a winner take all game for the AFCS title when future HOF'er JaMychal Hasty 3 touches for 5 yards.

The fact that they are only favored by 3 tells me Vegas doesn't have confidence in Dallas.

Would you?  With the division on the line, they laid an egg to Jacksonville and looked awful against DC.

Incredible splits
