Can Howie use PFF site for the upcoming draft?

Charbonnet is my favorite RB target in this draft.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Time zones seem to be the bigger issue... but maybe there's something about the pressure differences, etc.  Less oxygen in the blood... 🤷‍♂️.  Sort of a reverse hyperbaric chamber?

The Succubus of the skies? Sucking the life outa you while you nap?

Time Zones accepted, adjustment is a real thing, but I stand by my premise. Very smart people plan these travels.

I would think they allow for an acclimation to the new location.

Webb has about 5 inches and what looked like 40 lbs on Blankenship not to mention that he was going full speed.  He's played well otherwise and has been a sure tackler.

No.  Sorry.  Your answer is rejected and you deserve 5 penalty minutes to sit and re-think your response.  Until then this post is being flagged as a potential man card violation

I think he's on a Heisman chase.

Eh, he's recovering from a serious knee injury and maybe he thinks he wouldn't be able to test well and  he'd rather be fully healthy.  Michigan was SO close this year and a lot of that team is returning so they might have a chip on their shoulder and want to finish strong next year and go for a Championship.  NIL also makes it easier for guys to stay in school.  From what I found, Corum is somewhere between $650k and $1.2 million.  Not bad to play football and go to school.

Makes sense now.

I think a couple east coast teams that had west coast games on consecutive Sundays just stayed on the west coast. I'm not sure for me which would be worse.

@Ace Nova told me you can't do this.

And that would be a dangerous game putting a 45.5 million price tag on a guy who has missed 10 games the last two years.

Here we go again.  I said it’s technically not entirely "legal” and frowned upon/in the "gray area”.  Very difficult to prove so a team could likely get away with it.

 But….

Teams are supposed to franchise tag players in "good faith” meaning they’re not supposed to do it with intentions to trade.  And I’m still 100% correct when stating that EVEN 4 years later.  But if you want to die on that hill, go ahead.

When was the last time a team did it, specifically the Eagles?

That's not tampering?

Depends what "looking into" means.

It could mean it's being discussed internally instead of actively contacting Brady or his agent.  Maybe they're asking Gisele if she'll take him back if he moves to Vegas ....

What you said is there is penalties, and then when I posted the times it had happened, you backed off to its frowned upon.

As for recently,

2020 - Yannick Ngakoue

2019 - Jadeveon Clowney

2019 - Frank Clark

2019 - Dee Ford

2017 - Jarvis Landry

May be an image of 2 people and text that says 'When Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams see each other in Cancun'

Is it rare for anyone to go from critical condition to being released in just a matter of a couple days? If so, pretty incredible recovery.

The problem is that the first round pick is #6 on the depth chart.

Due to injury mostly

Penalties?  Only if they can "prove” that the team did it with intentions to trade.  Which is nearly impossible.   And usually, the only times it works is if the player/agent is also "in agreement”.

Is this tampering?

It could be if it were from an official team source, but I don’t think it counts when a reporter put it out there thru "sources”.

This always bothers me. Is it the Air time? Music, Gameboy, napping, whatever, it's not like they're doing gassers up and down the aisle...

Different from going to LA or Frisco, for instance?

The logistics are the same, 2hrs or 6 hrs. Fly, land, checkin, practice, meetings, PLAY.

What does the flight time have to do with it?

West coast to east coast involves losing hours because of the time zones. Doesn’t really matter if it’s LA, SF, or SEA.

Air travel also involves lower oxygen levels at altitude, which means the body heals slower. Travel is also just a PIA in general, even if you fly private.

Lots of small things, but it’s an edge regardless.

While we're on the subject of the draft, I'll throw out another early prediction: I don't think Levis goes in the first round. I saw him more as this college season went on and I just don't see it with him at all. And just like in last year's draft, the QBs were mocked to go really high and ended up falling, I don't think a team is going to feel comfortable taking him in the first round.

I don't know how it will play out.  To me, the Texans, Panthers and Colts are sure to pick a QB in round one.  I don't know about the Commanders but I would guess they will give Howell a go next season.  I could also see them signing a QB like Carr or Jimmy G. Teams will also think about Mayfield, Bridgewater, Brissett and Minshew that are capable of starting.  I am guessing Lamar and Geno will re-sign with their teams.  I think the Bucs and Jets will be looking for QBs.  They could pass on Levis if they like McKee or Jaren Hall more than Levis.  He did apparently have a turf toe injury this year but I can't help but look at him and see Wentz.

So many fans are so dumb.

Some idiot on WIP just now making the case for Hurts over Mahomes as MVP, went with Mahomes has so many passing yards because they never blow anyone out and he has to keep passing.

Point differential

Eagles 133

Chiefs 127

To be fair, a big part of our point differential was lost while Hurts was out.

I think Mayfield gets one more starting gig.  I don't think the others will.
