Steichen too

I think we'd survive losing him. Talent on offense is great. Maybe Smith would get utilized more

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Texans are casting a wide net. Steichen, Gannon, DeMeco Ryans, Ben Johnson....

Now watch them just hire Josh McCown

The sprinter?

It's amazing how underutilized Smith was early and then he finished with more catches than Brown. Smith is your new eagles receptions record holder.

But a bunch of those deep balls to brown could have gone smith's way.  Still not quite used properly.

I think you're greatly undervaluing the offensive coaches.

A lot of those designed Hurts runs could have gone to Smith or another receiver

If Eagles replaced Steichen with Brian Johnson, I think we'd be fine.

If they go out and bring someone else in, TBD

I read this as what will happen if Steichen doesn't call the same play two times in a row. Could hold true as well.

I think you Hurts surprised the coaches as well us fans with his passing ability and thus the scheme for this year included a lot of designed runs. He is a much better pocket passer than rolling out. Hopefully the next iteration of this offense weights him as a pocket passer more than a runner. The Eagles has the receivers, except Watkins, to do it, IMO.

I wouldn't mind a guy like Steve Wilks as DC

Panthers plan on interviewing Jim Caldwell for the HC job. wtf?

Dude no

It worked for AC/DC but that guy is so old now

That's a shocker but then again it is the Panthers

He surprised the hell out of me this season. It's been so long since we've had this kind of talent at WR that we need to be using them while we can

I thought the league recently did something to counter that loophole?

This thread seems to be one of the most used/read threads, so I'm going to post this here.

As I've mentioned, but I don't know how many know/remember, I'm caring for my 86 year old mother. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2019 and has been undergoing chemo ever since. In that time, she's had 4 strokes (2 full strokes and 2 mini-strokes) and a few months ago, fell and broke some bones in her pelvis.

I'm her sole caregiver. So 100% of my time, energy and focus in on her care. I do have time here and there to be on the board, to read/post and to make sure things are running well and that the board hasn't crashed or been hacked or whatever. I can't really moderate post by post, thread by thread, issue by issue but my PM box is open for anyone to PM me. As my time allows I can do whatever I can do. Just understand that I'm not here reading every post or seeing every argument/issue, so I'm kind of 'out of the loop' on a lot of goings on.

Did you see my post last night comparing Smith's first half of the year and second half of the year?  Crazy what he could have been had he be properly used all year.

The only way to counter the loophole is to get rid of the rule.

All they did was apply the rule to Women and QB coach. Every team also has to have a minority or female offensive assistant.
