After a very quite last two weeks of the season ( 5 catches for 53 yards ) I have a feeling Justin Jefferson is going to go nuclear on the Giants in his first playoff game.

And the Cowboys are already in self destruct mode.

I  think the Chargers, and possibly the Ravens are the only road teams who get a road win.

Jackson isn't playing. Ravens have no shot.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Speaking of, no way all 6 home teams are getting a win, but I am finding it hard to pick more than one road team ( Chargers )

I was thinking the same thing. Even the Chargers game is a little funky. Everyone is probably looking at the Chargers to win, and Jacksonville was not supposed to be there, so they are playing with house money. Add in that Mike Williams is hurt and even if he plays, he will be limited, and the Chargers D has been susceptible to the run over the last few weeks, makes me think that this game is going to be very close.

I still look at Seattle and think that there is a chance they could win. While the whole "Hard to beat a team 3 times in a season" is a bunch of garbage, I do think that they will be better prepared this time to play them. The last game played was still one-possession game with around 3:30 left in the game. They do have the ability to keep up with the 49ers and win. They will be considered complete underdogs going into the game and will be another team playing with house money. I like their chances more then if Green Bay was there.

Then again it could also be wishful thinking.

aaron donald - what a joke

It happens a lot with the pro bowl. Players getting nominated for past accomplishments when they weren't exactly great the current year

This has been a problem with the college game for decades though. At least now the subjectivity has been mostly removed from the equation so that the worst possible outcome, split championships, are thankfully no longer a possibility.

Meh.  The 'championship' for all of college football is silly too.  Who cares?  There's no matchup between the DI-A and DI-AA teams... so it isn't really a 'national' championship, but a national championship for DI-A (FBS), or DI-AA (FCS), or D-II or D-III.  While we can assume that DI-A would beat all the other levels, it is still only an assumption, and they are 'split' championships by division.

Putting bias aside, I think New York wins, unsure about cowboys winning.

Yea those two games are weird. There isn't an outcome in either that would surprise me.

Catch the Bengals sleeping and looking ahead to Buffalo.

Giants have a good chance to beat Minny. Tampa could easily go down as well.

Daboll just has that Giants squad so well coached. Their backups kept it competitive with us. It just entirely depends on what Kirk Cousins shows up, also Minnesota has 2 OL down.

cowboys one is so tough to evaluate. But I’ll give the edge to home field advantage + Tom Brady

We were the league's top pass defense in the regular season this year.

And yet, we were picked apart by certain teams during the course of the year in the passing game - aka, 'susceptible'.

Lots of people, judging by the ratings. If they didn't, the ratings would've fallen off in the BCS or CFP eras, but they haven't. And the second part isn't exactly a leap of faith. Those tiny schools just can't compete.

Seattle's only points in the game in Frisco during the regular season was a blocked FG return for a TD, and they had 216 yards of offense.

Seems like Harbaugh is between the Broncos and Colts reading reports. If he goes to the broncos, where does Sean Payton go? I said the other day I think he’d go to Dallas if they lose to Tampa, but Jerry Jones said yesterday he’s not firing McCarthy. Maybe he’s just putting BS out publicly, but assuming for a second he isn’t and Denver isn’t the place, would you even want one of the other jobs if you’re Payton?

These are all really crappy jobs and he doesn’t have to come back this year. He’s getting paid a lot by FOX.

There was much better depth on the 2017 Eagles team.  They were able to lose Wentz, Peters, Sproles, Hicks, Maragos, etc. and still be the best team in the NFL.

If this Eagles team lost Hurts, Lane, Gainwell, White, and any ST guy I doubt many would pick them to win the Super Bowl

That's ok.  Who picked the Eagles to win the Super Bowl that year?   Underdogs in each stage of the playoffs, including the SB.

Doubt Sean Payton actually wants Denver. Think he’s using them as leverage for where he really wants to go

Payton is a turd, and he's only going to take a job where he has control over personnel.  His ego wouldn't mesh with Jerry and Stephen Jones making all the decisions.

I think he's waiting to see if the Chargers lose; if JAX beats them I could see Staley getting fired.  I've heard he wants to be in LA

Crazy how they have the weapons but not the QB. Probably best for Tua though. Can't imagine if he got another concussion so soon. Probably becoming dangerous at this point

I think we passed dangerous at the last one.

That was the first game. The second game in Santa Clara ended at 21-13 in week 15. Geno had a pass TD to Fant.

I think Payton is waiting to see what happens with the Chargers. If they lose to Jacksonville I think Staley is a goner. So if that job opens up, I think it’s the best opening in a very long time. There’s no chance Payton wants to jump the gun before that opens up.

I know it’s Dallas’ time of year to ish the bed, but Tampa looking like ass most of the year concerns me. Dallas seems good to get a win every handful of years or so, and their 2018 team was the last to get one.

This guy needs to go ahead and retire before he starts slobbering on himself.

Seriously tho, personal health>the Game.

He is in jeopardy of becoming a real casualty...enough already. Protect yourself.

This is tremendous. I can't wait to tell my wife when she get's home from work that NFL players will be playing water balloon toss.

Are you more or less likely to tune in?

Back in the 1980s/early 1990s, the NFL Superstars competitions were actually entertaining.  This?  It's just getting worse, but at least the risk of injury is dropping.   Although, Robert Edwards would likely disagree... his career was destroyed by a flag football game on the beach.

It is January, after all...

Miami will actually be the perfect fit for a veteran QB looking to win.  Granted, you don't want to deal with Mahomes/Burrow/Allen/Herbert in-conference, but it's a fantastic team to join.

Should be on the radar for Jimmy G, Brady, Rodgers, Carr.
