The team hasn't played at home in four weeks.  That alone makes me confident.

Another week of reps for the backups.  Another week for the coaches to tailor the game plan.

Don't turn the ball over and it will be a walk on Sunday.

I think people overlook how hard it is to go on the road for 3 consecutive games and win all three. Heck the saints were the top seed in 2020. Came to Philly for their third game of a 3 game road trip and lost.

Why i think if the eagles play the cowboys again it’s a huge advantage to the eagles. Cowboys play the last two regular season games on the road and if it’s divisional round we meet then it’s 4th consecutive road game. If nfc title game then 5th.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

IMO the smart play is to go with Minshew; I think with a second consecutive start we'll see much less of the happy feet in the pocket and backpedaling from the first game.  He played reasonably well but there was some evident rust.  He would be calmer and more efficient this Sunday.

Even in the worst-case scenario of another loss this Sunday, the game against the Giants should be a win -- and it's quite possible the Giants will be resting starters if they beat the Colts this weekend and lock into the #6 seed.

That’s even worse. I thought it was in his second or third year.

His Mom was there on the sidelines using the umbrella as a sun shade.

He swooped by during a break to talk to her for a moment.

Pic was snapped, narrative began, the rest is History.

Not defending JJaw, he sucked, but a picture is worth...whatever we perceive it's worth.

Same as that pic of Eskin years ago, diggin in his butt at Lehigh , pullin a wedgie loose, credibility gone...

Minshew was named the starter last Friday, so Hurts is close.

Hopefully he can go.  We are cutting it close here needing a win going against a good defense.

Pretty sure that was from his finally TC here.

That's foolish.  If he's not healthy enough to start, then you sure don't throw him into the game needing him to play hero ball and reinjure himself.  I really hope they aren't even considering that.   He's either active and starting, or he's inactive and resting.   Going halfway in is a recipe for disaster.  Besides, having him on the sidelines has Minshew playing tentative and looking over his shoulder... and more so, a single incompletion, or an interception and the faithful mouth breathers  Hoagie Mouths at the Linc will be calling for Hurts.   Long list of things that can go wrong in that scenario.   They need to commit one way or the other.

Fixed that for you

The guy in the middle in the black shirt is gonna be the one making the call on if Hurts plays Sunday.

How many players' moms attend training camp?

My mom absolutely would if I were part of a football team.

Nothing wrong with a parent supporting a child.

The Eagles have to announce today, right? Or at least designate Hurts as questionable probable or doubtful?

Yeah a child.

And hey, youre right, nothing went bad for him at all there.  He should bring her everywhere, umbrella in tow just in case

Yes -- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  It doesn't really matter on his designation, however.  Many players are game-time decisions each week and are simply designated as questionable.  The Eagles could do that, or they could simply either remove him from the injury report (unlikely) or list him as 'out' as they did last week.

Wow.  Learn something new everyday.   Why did I think it was "Stay Puff”?

When I was a kid, I thought it was State Puff.

Forget asking him if he's starting on Sunday; ask him when he's going to get a frickin' haircut.

Allow me to restate... their child.  Aaron Nola's parents went to a bunch of games for both of their kids.  Were they wrong in supporting their children?   No.

JJAW's issues have NOTHING to do with his mother being at that TC practice, nor the umbrella, nor the picture being taken.  They had everything to do with his inability to produce on the football field.

This is about as weak a take as you can have on JJAW's failures.

That's the right answer.

@justwinbaby how bout that still dead last in yards and points allowed Lions defense.  Apparently it was you that don't know what you're watching.

And the cries for Sudfeld grew stronger after Nick looked like crap for about five minutes against the Cowboys while Sudfeld went something like 22 of 25 the rest of the day. Of course they didn’t take into account that he averaged about three yards per pass and led the team for zero points. But yes, we’d definitely be better off in the playoffs with Nate.

Basically, he was unstoppable.

Sitting up in the bleachers for a game is one thing

For an unproven rookie trying to make the team?  Say whatever you want, Im a parent myself, but hell no.  These are grown ass men out there, focus on your job and leave mommy and her umbrella behind.

Maybe he wouldn't have sucked so much if he just focused on the task at hand and got better.

I would have told my mom "thanks, love you, but come to a game and Ill give you the facility tour later."

You think JJAW was bad? McNabb's mom used to spoon feed him soup on national TV :nonono:

Kids these days.
