I would not hesitate to have him replace Hargrave and to use that cap space elsewhere.  And don't think for a second that Howie doesn't want to showcase his controversial pick after the draft day shenanigans.  

Williams flashed later in his rookie year, which is why some folks were pretty excited about him heading into 2022 and thought he was arguably our most disappointing player of the first half. 

I hope you’ve noticed his improvement in the run game. I know you’ve said a bunch that he’s wasted as a run defender.
