Yeah, and he will. He looked alright at the start of the game with his timing. Ideal would have been GM beating the freaking Saints with AD as the QB so he could have fully rested it.

Thats a wayyyyyyy better team than the one Hurts struggled mightily against this past Sunday

And Sam Darnold just beat that same team, in New Orleans, with a whopping 75 yards of total offense.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

What bothers me is it still hurts him this badly and it's been how many weeks now?

The worry for me is it's pretty clear he shouldn't have even been playing against the Giants but we had to in order to secure the #1 seed. He didn't take huge shots but he still took some hits, had a sneak that looked like it was painful based on his facial expression, and threw quite a few times. I just hope playing that game didn't stall his healing.

Bieniemy? He's been interviewed tons of times, year after year, and was never even a finalist. He's not even getting interviews now. The league has clearly shown they don't think he's head coach material. You don't even hear the social media outrage anymore about him.

With a vanilla offense.

Sounds like a hell of an excuse when we had AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Miles Sanders, and the entire starting Oline aside from Lane Johnson out there. Our offense was the same as its always been only Jalen wasnt running it. Jalen should have played much better against an entire defense of back ups

Would you pay this man $50M per season?

That shoulder will be the end of our season.

Sad face.

And if our defense did not try to put Dak in the hall of fame, there would have been no need for him to play.

Yea, Vanilla or not they should have performed better. They actually moved the ball fairly well, it was just the red zone everything came to a screeching halt.

If Hurts is hampered like he was against the NYG, then we are 1 and done. It was a nice season while it lasted, but that is that.

Our only shot is Hurts playing at his earlier MVP level.

But then it goes back to if he's perfectly fine there's no reason he should be standing around at practice.

4D chess, my friend.

Wonder how high he will go.  He's no Kyle Pitts that's for sure.  If he tests even average, he doesn't last through round 2.  I can see him testing bad though.

I feel like Hurts and the offense played fine except the red zone.  They were 1/5 in the RZ.  A couple of those FGs turn into TDs and the rout was on.

Agreed.  The passing windows get a little smaller, the players all play a little better, and the margin for error gets very small in the playoffs.

And as 2017 proved, on top of all that, you need a little luck ( Falcons game right before the half )

Baltimore has a good enough coaching and front office staff where I think they would be content moving on. They draft extremely well.

I'd dare you to find someone on the forum harder on Hurts than I've been. I don't make excuses for him. It was vanilla and he isn't a pocket QB when healthy. To make things worse once the Giants saw he wasn't going to run they played differently.

I think the Lamar saga is on an inevitable course -- Ravens franchise tag him, he refuses to sign it, Ravens trade him to a team that has a contract worked out for him.

Who needs a QB and has cap space and draft capital to trade?  Falcons, Seahawks, Lions?  Texans?

Honestly I think we were so far ahead of the pack that the team slowed up a bit. They were probably just ready for the playoffs to start. We’ll be fine.

He does have to sign the tag to be traded.

Hurts and Brown are playing 3d chess and are finna to stunt on em

Definitely felt that way. But no Hurts in the run game would significantly hamper this offense

They didn't really try to run the ball without Hurts.  It was embarrassing.

Eh I think I also trust Hurts throwing to 3 studs more than Sanders picking up consistent yardage on the ground. But I'm more down on Sanders than most.
