Didn't know he left.  I sure didn't miss him one bit; the game passed him by at least 5 years ago.  He and Collinsworth were both terrible on the Eagles' Super Bowl broadcast.

Collinsworth spends half the game chuckling trying to put words together.  Hard to work with that.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Why is fandom measured by going to the game by some people?

I am joining this conversation late in the game however, I don’t think that anyone has said that fandom is measured that way .I emphasize "measured.” Further, if you were offered a ticket to go to see the Eagles live or stay home and watch the Eagles on TV which would you choose?

I have gone to a couple of games in my life and I absolutely hated the experience. I hate waiting in line, I hate finding parking, I hate the cold, and I hate dealing with people. It is just a miserable time from my point of view. I much rather sit at home on my nice comfy couch in front of my TV and watch the game. If I need to do something, I can pause it and come back to it.

I get why people like going to the stadium., I just loathe it so much. Not just football I feel the same way about all sports.

I clearly know the answer to the question I asked.

Yeah I don't know what the "gotcha" is here. If it's blocked for 5, Sanders picks up 10+ with the best of them. If it's blocked for 1, he has a hard time getting 3-4. I prefer the second guy in the playoffs.

There is no gotcha, Sanders picked up, consistent yards on the ground all year long, top-five in the NFL

I've seen that mentioned by plenty of folks who weren't anywhere near the stadium.  There hasn't been any formal cause released either by the Bills, U of C hospital or Hamlin.  Lots of speculation but still nothing concrete.  Just seems like an important part to share to help in the future and to give some closure to all those who watched it live.

Is there any no-question diagnosis  of Commotio Cordis, or is it "the most probable cause"? That certainly seems to fit but seeming to fit is not the same as "this was 99% likely the cause".

4th and 2, do you feel comfortable handing off to Sanders?

Nope, but minshew yep

I would hope the Dr. involved would be able to say we discovered that this was the reason, and be pretty no doubt about it for his cardiac arrest. I also think more people would want to know since we all watched it happen.

I would think the percentage of him getting an extension this off-season, depends on how far the Eagles go through the playoffs, with that percentage, obviously growing for each playoff win.

I was on the anti Hurts express this past offseason and gladly ate my crow, so I’m not clinging to any anti-Hurts position or rhetoric…but Howie better tread carefully here.

He saw how quickly things went south with Wentz.  Lamar Jackson’s stock (along with the Ravens’ fortunes) has gone relentlessly downhill since his breakout year.  He’s not going to compete for anything anytime soon and there’s a reason he doesn’t have a contract.

Hurts silenced the doubters, proved everyone wrong, and earned the starting job.  If they have a quiet and early playoff exit, then Hurts needs to prove he’s not Lamar Jackson by going on a run next year.  Then they can give him big money.

No qb, unless they look like a generational talent, should get big money before some kind of either playoff run or sustained year to year success.

According to the Wikipedia he’s been back twice as a RB coach and then OC… my Bieniemy-Colorado memories end in 1990, my bad.

Which makes you wonder...what the hell was AZ thinking giving Kyler Murray that contract?

Right now, Baltimore looks smart, and Arizona does not.

Another thing people are not factoring into this calculation, is this very team three years ago, gave a quarterback his money too early, did not wait for playoff success, and look how it worked out.

Well they were smart about it at first...and it paid off, but the race card got played on them.  The 'study' clause was funny in that he signed it without even studying the contract.

Gonna have to chime in on this one.

Been to maybe 60 Eagles Games in my life, maybe 50 here and the rest on the road somewhere.

FedEx Field always a treat cause we kick their butts in their own house a lot. MNF Deluge, Desean...lol.

Meadowlands a couple hours up the road from me. Been there a few times.

Pittsburgh when it counts was always worth the ride..Buffalo was interesting from an opposing Fan kinda view...

Best "Fan" experience has always been at Home. Rolling thru the parking lots looking for a place to park, what a show, like Mardi Gras, Tailgating, meeting the Faithful that have "Purpose" Built Eagles Rigs and an unofficial "Usual Spot" they park, Ouside TVs, Grill stations set up and awesome food they offer for a dime...

Must be careful or the game just might become secondary. Many of those folks never even go into the stadium...content to watch on their Big Screens right there where they are.

The Stadium experience is another kettle of fish. Feels like I'm in a Fantasy Land. Music, Crowd, Football...Always.

Get a Drunk Eagles Fan over your shoulder for three hours though can be ...trying...

For the Buck,  yeah, GO.

Fandom? Take what you can get, or afford, Enjoy thyself. illegitimi non carborundum.

Baltimore has a good enough coaching and front office staff where I think they would be content moving on. They draft extremely well.

I've only seen one Ravens game where Tyler Huntley played the whole game but he wasn't chopped liver.

Certain teams often don’t think, they are just happy with the $$$ coming in.

The Hurts contract watch is going to be interesting. If he’s looking to get paid, the best course of action for him might be to just take out an insurance policy on himself and play under his current contract until the likes of Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert get sorted out.

Measured response, Thank you.

The Kyler Murray contract made the whole playing field explode, Wilson too. Unsupported Guarantees kill Franchises.

I think Lamar tried to leverage stock he didn't own yet. His Mom is a poor Agent...So's he...

Howie doesn't hit on all his draft picks, but he's no Steve Kiem...

They're watching, as we all are...

Still like me some Chris, regardless of what others think.

He has fun with it. Beats Charles Davis or Schlereth FFS...

Are you asking if Sanders is a power back?  Because the answer is obviously, no.  They should have one on the roster... and one that doesn't wear #1.

Mmmm-hmmm...

Honestly re Hurts' extension: if after the post-season, Hurts hasn't proven himself worthy of an extension, then I hope Howie punts the NO pick into next year, heck maybe punt both picks into next year.

Between Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, you by all early indications are looking at two 10/10 rated prospects. Might as well load-up on draft ammo and shot your shot next year.

Now, all this is moot if Hurts leads us to a deep playoff run. He then gets paid, that's all.

The whole Power Back conversation eludes me. Yeah, I miss Blount. That was then.

If we have the best run-blocking O line in the NFL, we should be able to give the ball to a little blue smurf and get 3 yards...

Ah, yes... we should, but we don't.  We give it to Hurts and let him push for it.
