Can we run the ball on the Saints without Jalen and Lane? Not so sure we can with their front 7.

Yeah, I don't think the QB has much impact on running the ball against the Saints.

This is two weeks ago in New Orleans, and I think our line, without Lane, is just a little better than the Falcons.

I mean, the clues are all there.

I mean, it's hard to keep up with all the news of 32 teams. But anyway, even if they are out, how are we going to defend Michael Thomas? And since CJGJ and Maddox are still out we'll have a nightmare matchup with Josiah Scott on Jimmy Graham.

At least Reggie bush is still questionable after that Sheldon brown hit!

Only Hurts makes the run game good! It won't be able to do anything against the 21st ranked rush defense without him!!!

You ever see the movie Bone Tomahawk? A little gruesome but a great flick.

Did you know New Orleans is 21st in run defense DVOA?

Care to venture a guess what the Eagles run offense DVOA rank is?

Sure but we’re missing the best player on our offensive line and we’re missing the player that  makes our run game extremely hard to defend. So we are hoping to showcase a more conventional run game, which is not what we KNOW that we are great at. To make that run game really work then, we need to be able to pass the ball well which, based on Minshew’s performance last week, we can’t really hang our hat on.

Again, you sound very confident which is great. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’re prepared for the heart palpations that you’re about to experience on Sunday.

No, and I'm a movie guy.

Thanks, I'll look for it.

Yea, no idea how the o-line of 4 pro-bowl or pro-bowl alternates will be able to handle it

Sitting up in the bleachers for a game is one thing

For an unproven rookie trying to make the team?  Say whatever you want, Im a parent myself, but hell no.  These are grown ass men out there, focus on your job and leave mommy and her umbrella behind.

Maybe he wouldn't have sucked so much if he just focused on the task at hand and got better.

I would have told my mom "thanks, love you, but come to a game and Ill give you the facility tour later."

:nonono:. Sad.  It's like you think that a player can't do both at the same time.    He got dunked on by people because he sucked on the field.   He sucked on the field, because he wasn't athletic enough to beat defenders in the NFL, wasn't physical enough to dominate them, and wasn't driven enough to change those things.   It had nothing to do with mama being on the field to watch a practice.   It was a nothing story then, its a nothing story now.  It's just a picture that illustrates how he played... soft and uninterested.  Maybe the bigger issue is that he was raised a certain way, but that's completely separate from her presence in that moment.

How many players' moms attend training camp?

Fewer than the number of fans who would attended training camp back in the day.  Is there a point to this question?  I guess it's silly for the fans to attend training camp, too.

Whens the last time you brought your mom to your place of work?

For your first professional full time job, did you bring your mom along so she could check out the place, meet your coworkers and boss?  Im sure she was very proud of her little boy getting his first real job.

If not, why didnt you bring her?  Dont you love her?

Not at all.  Kelce is still suiting up.  Lane is #2.

.  Well constructed false equivalence.  Bravo.

Being serious for a moment, the only matchup I'm not thrilled about is Cam Jordan vs Jack Driscoll. He's older, but he's a borderline HOF'er who still has a little gas in the tank left, and he'll know how to exploit Driscoll. I'm not a big fan of Driscoll as a T as is, so I expect him to struggle. We'll likely see more 12 personnel and have Goedert or Stoll chip him to help compensate.

My second concern is Driscoll getting extended playing time so I wouldn't be shocked if he's knocked out for the playoffs due to an injury.

Such a great play by Sheldon. Teachable moment. Read and React, Shoulder contact, head to the side, just blew him up.

Clean hit, even by today's standards, timing of the contact, separates the ball from the player...

I could watch that 100 MORE times...probably will...

I don't think Reggie was ever the same after that. He was still a talent but that hit took something out of him.

This NFL thing is a TOUGH business to be in...

I still think that's a fumble. It's very similar to the Miles Sanders fumble against Chicago.

Yup, and Driscoll will draw Kayvon Thibodeaux in Week 18 against the Giants.  I haven't seen a lot of Giants games this year, but when I have watched I've noticed Thibodeaux making impact plays for them.

If the Eagles need that Week 18 game and Thibodeaux suits up, I would still prefer Dillard at LT and Mailata at RT -- especially if Driscoll gets schooled this Sunday.

There should be chips and double teams on him all day.
