It's not saying the word ebonics, it's the casual racism he was implying

Would've thought this wouldn't needed to be explained but yeah.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Who's Lamar playing for next season?

Jets and Falcons are leading candidates

Seahawks and Lions are dark horses .... is dark horse a racist term yet?

Wouldn't be surprised if the Commies took a run at Lamar.

So if the giants beat the Vikings and travel to Philly for the divisional playoffs, should they start their practice squad against us in that game?

Weve seen their starters match up against us and it was a blowout.  We’ve seen their practice squad match up against us and it went down to the wire.  Or should the Giants trust their talent gap and go with their starters?

This argument is a bit bizarre E45. We have games where the teams in question played their starters and actually game planned for each other. You’re countering with a game where we reportedly executed a vanilla game plan against another team with respect to which the game didn’t matter. These are apples to oranges comps.

We don’t need to worry about a perceived talent gap in the Giants/Vikes and Bucs/Cowboys games because we’ve seen the teams match up already. We already have a solid idea how each team’s talent match up on the football field instead of on paper, with each team clearly trying.

If the conversation was about a potential Eagles v Seahawks matchup, a discourse on talent gap would be more apt.

Two years ago I was always on the not making HOF side of the argument, but I can't argue that now after back to back 1st team all-pro's, he's getting in. Don't think he'll be a first ballot guy though.

Being a first ballot HOFer as an OL is historically difficult, but it's that much tougher as an interior OL.

Think the ravens prefer to trade him to the nfc. I wouldn’t rule out the lions going after him. They could use Goff to send back to baltimore and lamar comes back to Detroit. Goff was really good at home this year but less than stellar on the road. I could see Detroit going for lamar as they think with the weapons they have that they could go to another level with him.

Was about to post something similar.  Although it's somewhat difficult for Offensive Linemen to get into the HOF, especially Centers, I think Kelce's 5 All-Pros make a very solid case for him...

Tbh if he continues to keep playing for 2-3 more years and gets a couple more all pros there’s a chance he could be first ballot. I think he’s such a popular guy he could.

frankly would be awesome if he and Travis retired at the same time and got into the HOF the same year. Would be an awesome ceremony

Great news for our 2024 2nd round pick

They're banking on a windfall from a Sean Payton trade.

Broncos makes too much sense IMO. Wilson isn’t broken, he’s just part of the broken situation. Fixing that place with that defense will catapult them into contention faster than any other team

Go out and get Payton + Hopkins, dynamite

Best case scenario is Dallas gets bounced this weekend and Jerry trades 3 first round picks for Sean Payton.

Thought Reddick played at an All Pro level this season.

Did he get a 2nd Team consolation prize?

No bias here, But Reddick lost out to the Micah Hype train thats tied to the Cowboys. Despite out performing Micah this year.

Reddick was snubbed.

My wife is having a shoulder issue currently, totally unrelated to Hurts injury.  She got a Toradol shot at work yesterday, and she was borderline retarded for a couple hours.

All I am getting from this is that your wife doesn't play for the Bears.

I've talked with a couple Lions fans that are surprisingly happy with Goff

What happens if Lamar doesn’t sign the franchise tender?

He doesn't play in 2023.

Imo, they need to make it work with Lamar. And Lamar needs to make an effort to make it work with them.

So just to recap this slow bye week - Bacarty banned  (for being incredibly stupid)   :flex:

Does RTK still have his account?
