Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

49ers are going to be a problem

Yeah SEA is bad

Anyways on to the next game. Two young Stud QBs in the next matchup.

You’ll all kill me for saying it, but I don’t see us surviving SF.

mr. irrelevant>hurts

This could get ugly quickly.

It feels like the past 2 seasons since creating a 7th seed that the 2 vs 7 has been ugly so far

Thats why I said this would be a bye for niners

should they play, eagles will be underdogs.......................again

7 Vs 2 is a GG match-up. TB looked like a juggernaut against us last year, only to lose the next game.

If we have Maddox/Johnson/CJGJ/Davis healthy, I’ll be a very very close matchup.

I've hated the addition of a 7th seed. Said plenty of times last year, the state of Pennsylvania had no business being in the post season.

I think the Vikings have to win tomorrow, I think they have the best shot of the teams that could take them out before we have to see them, not because of Kirk cousins, but Justin Jefferson can go off any given Sunday

Rapsheet says Raiders trying to trade Carr this week before they have to cut him. Mentioned, Jets, Panthers, Commies as possibilities.

I can't see a team pursuing Carr until they see what the Ravens decide to do with Jackson, because a QB needy team who wants to pursue a vet QB will surely prioritize Jackson over Carr.

In addition, just like Howie did with the Bradberry, why trade for a player who seems destined to be released sooner rather than later.

on that subject, what CBs in situations similar to Bradberry’s do you think Howie has his eyes on?  Cameron Sutton?  Byron Murphy?  Rock Ya-Sin?  Patrick Peterson? Jamel Dean?  Other?

They’re our worst matchup, and that’s even with Purdy overdue for a dud.

I think it would be close. I saw stidham and the raiders put up 34 on that defense and chiefs blew the doors off that niners defense too. Niners look really good. I also think Seahawks hasn’t played well since the week before their bye. Even in wins it was more due to opponents playing even worse than they have. Their 3 wins down the stretch were rams twice and jets.

tbh i think seattle is the worst team out of all the playoff teams. That includes Miami with Skylar Thompson.

Yes they are, let's hope we get to enjoy that problem

The Seahawks stink would much rather have seen the Lions or Packers in.

Lions

Bring on any team. The Eagles at their best can beat anyone. Just hope Hurts feels better in a week and they can unleash full Hurts.

The Seahawks are doing pretty well on first down but everything else looks so difficult for them.

That is the problem, two of the Eagles best players will not be at their best

I think CJGJ will be healthy.  I don’t think Lane will manage a full game against them and I doubt Maddox suits up at all.  Davis will only play about 5 snaps anyway, so his health is inconsequential.

Y’all can’t help yourselves, first quarter of the 7/2 game and the Eagles are doomed 😂

Never know with the lions on the road. Goff is not very good on the road nor great against top 10 dvoa defenses. On the road he has 6td passes and 4 ints and 87 Qb rating. At home 23 tds and 3 ints and 109 rating. Pretty significant drop off on the road for Goff and the lions offense

I think, at our best, we match up against them well enough.

The issue is that they are playing their absolute best football if the year exactly when we are playing our absolute worst football of the year.  That’s what makes it a bad matchup.

I don’t think anyone said the Eagles are doomed, just acknowledging that a potential opponent is really good
