That is the problem, two of the Eagles best players will not be at their best

They will not be 100% healthy. Major difference. Doesn’t mean they can’t play their best while dealing with injuries.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

You’ll all kill me for saying it, but I don’t see us surviving SF.

No one is going to kill you.  We all have gotten used to your "sky is falling " approach by now.

I don’t think anyone said the Eagles are doomed

You’re not reading all the posts then.

Y’all can’t help yourselves, first quarter of the 7/2 game and the Eagles are doomed 😂

Nah, we had them doomed before this game started….sometime around the time they couldn’t pull away from the Giants practice squad.

With SF, the only real negatives they have is a rookie QB (who has played quite well) and a HC who tends to get conservative.

You would think Purdy has to hit a clunker soon, but Shanahan vs Gannon is such a mismatch. We will have to tackle as well as we have all season bs those skill guys. Their defense will give us fits. They have a damn good front and Warner and and the LBs have the speed and physicality to limit the run game.

Our passing game weapons have a big advantage vs that secondary if the OL does its job.

We should run 60% of the time vs. SF.

Oh, we know. 😂

If Hurts is close to full health and isn't scared to run because of the shoulder. I think we handle the 49ers. From what I'm seeing, Geno has room to run for big gains but doesn't have the quick wheels to take full advantage.

SEA does not know how to block in the open field

I think CJGJ will be healthy.  I don’t think Lane will manage a full game against them and I doubt Maddox suits up at all.  Davis will only play about 5 snaps anyway, so his health is inconsequential.

Yea Lane’s health is what scares me the most.

The Eagles have an advantage against them at WR but they are going to be a challenge.

I think, at our best, we match up against them well enough.

The issue is that they are playing their absolute best football if the year exactly when we are playing our absolute worst football of the year.  That’s what makes it a bad matchup.

See my previous post.

If Lane is close to healthy, he will son Bosa in the pass game, Mailata will do the same in the run game.

good drive for hawks so far

The run D will have to be up to the challenge, because Shanny will be happy to stick with the run if we want to sit back in two high to limit big plays.

The 9ers O seems like the better unit. Their D is allowing a lot of easy plays, SEA just hasn't been able to take advantage until now.

I think an issue we could potentially have with the Niners is also if Demeco starts doing some designed blitzes. we really haven’t done a very good job lately of picking up those blitzes. We need to be better in that aspect.

maybe purdy goes on a nick foles run here and wins the Super Bowl, but i tend to agree. At some point he’s gonna be challenged and there’s going to be a let down. Feels like so far he’s not had that moment yet.

I don’t think their DBs are anything to write home about. If you protect against their rush I think you can expose some guys in their secondary.

Seattle went no huddle there. We will do the same so their pass rushers can't sub.

F San Fran. I hope we play them and kick their ass

Nobody is saying it will be easy against SF.

I think the biggest difference is some of you are expecting to see the week 18 Eagles. I’m not.

Nah, doomed when they were playing the Lions.

Doomed when they weren’t playing the starters in Preseason.

Doomed after the Bucs game.

Shanahan will do everything possible to isolate Deebo in the middle of the field against the weak link(s) in our secondary.  He’ll try to find a way to test Blankenship, Scott, Wallace with Deebo any time those guys are on the field.

Due to constantly rotating personnel, Gannon’s defense has consistently been weak in that part of the field.

Better take that post down, I don’t think the 49ers defense knows that hurts can run, we don’t wanna tip them off with any insider info

If things go as planned, Scott and Wallace won’t be out there much if at all.
