Geno Smith isn’t a rushing QB. San Fran doesn’t have to respect him at all. They would play Hurts very differently with Warner.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Nah, doomed when they were playing the Lions.

Doomed when they weren’t playing the starters in Preseason.

Doomed after the Bucs game.

I was never a preseason spa/starter resting alarmist.  Try to keep track of which skies are falling if that’s going to be your thing.

Shanahan will do everything possible to isolate Deebo in the middle of the field against the weak link(s) in our secondary.  He’ll try to find a way to test Blankenship, Scott, Wallace with Deebo any time those guys are on the field.

Due to constantly rotating personnel, Gannon’s defense has consistently been weak in that part of the field.

Kittle and McCafferey will also be an issue catching passes in the middle of the field.

49ers, due to Deebo, CMC and Kittle, are the worst matchup for the weakest part of our defense.

Hawks aren't layin down...

Looks like Kelce locked up his HoF spot.

Nfl probably really irritated that the lions won that game vs. Gb in week 18. Cause at least they’d have gotten a rodgers/Gb vs. niners matchup which ratings wise would’ve been better and likely a better matchup then Seahawks

I think SF/Seattle ends up a better game though.  I think GB was at the end of their rope.

TD Hawks.

49ers interior D-line can be had, SAWFT

Nobody is saying it will be easy against SF.

I think the biggest difference is some of you are expecting to see the week 18 Eagles. I’m not.

Tbh i think the eagles can beat the niners. I’m hoping the giants can pull off an upset so if Dallas beats tampa it’s a Dallas vs. SF matchup and we get giants. In my opinion, the Eagles and the Niners are the two best teams in the NFC. Dallas is the third. Going from an emotional rivalry game like Dallas at home (giants rivalry too but i think Dallas in a playoff game at home is a whole other level) then to SF for an nfc title game is likely the hard way we could go.

Just as I say it... Seattle is about to pull within 3.

Seahawks keep it alive

Never mind, SF stinks. We won’t have any problems with them.

No way the big, bad Niners just gave up an 80 yard TD drive???

Well deserved.

Yeah, 9ers are a good team, but not worth panicking over in a potential NFC Title game in Philly.

Nice drive that. Kenneth walker OROTY?

C’mon. We’re not saying they are unbeatable. But they’re easily the worst matchup in the NFC for us.

Seattle can't stop SF on offense, so it won't matter. They need to take risks and blitz more.

Any upset gives us what should be a cup cake game while SF plays a pretty solid team in divisional round (if they aren’t the upset).

I am not sure how the number two run defense that gives up 78 yards per game can be had anywhere

They’re definitely stout, but I think they would actually struggle with Dallas if that ended up being next weeks matchup.

Possibly. I kind of thought the Packers blew their load in week 17 vs. Minnesota and just couldn’t match the same emotion and energy in week 18.  it caught up to them. Kind of like when Minnesota had everything go right in that buffalo game and then the following week they had to play Dallas and just got smacked. I think that tends to happen in the NFL more than people realize. When the Eagles played Minnesota in the NFC title game, the Eagles are definitely better and i think they win anyways. However, I thought Minnesota winning the way they did was going to have an emotional let down at some point in time is the next game.  I thought Kansas City last year after the Buffalo win in the divisional round had the same thing happened to them against the Bengals in the second half of that game.

They don't stink but IMO a big reason for their defense ranking so high is an easy schedule. The only offensives they've played worth mentioning is KC/SD/LV.
