The BAD is their 1-2 record in the last 3 weeks…and if you can’t grasp how it was bad, then I don’t know what to tell you.

But did you not claim that they were BAD the past two months rather than the just last three games?

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I think Quinn will Golden Tate the Eagles in the playoffs.

After a miserable post trade performance, he’ll be a part of a crucial big play at some point in these playoffs.

Hats off to him for playing through all that

Dolphins out here dropping everything.

Waddle had to slow down to try to catch it. With a better throw that's complete, assuming Waddle doesn't drop it.

For you guys it was. I’m talking about the eagles as an organizational decision. If they made the decision that they didn’t love him (which they did) then I have to deal with that decision they were never taking him. However, even making that decision they knew teams behind really loved Jefferson and coveted him. So at that point try maximizing the value of the pick with Jefferson on the board. I don’t think they even tried because they thought they would lose out on reagor like he was some can’t miss prospect. i still think somebody would’ve given you a decent haul to go up and get him. We heard multiple teams during the draft and even after wanted to move up for him and aiyuk.

You are likely right, but I am still pissed about Jefferson.  I rarely get that attached to a player predraft, but when I do, it normally turns out well for that player.

Yep.  Should have traded, down, picked up an extra pick and still could have had Reagor.  No one else was taking him in the first.

I tend to agree. When Quinn came here, he hadn’t had a bye week yet. And Eagles already had their bye week. So he basically was going to have to play 17 continuous games due to that. I think it was a little bit rundown by the time he got here and then he got hurt. I actually think the time off this week and him being healthy again is going to wind up having him be better than what we saw when he first got here.

That's a catch.

Wow! Bills receivers making some great catches. Bills should challenge.

Easy on setting the bar so high.  😱

Or, just take the WR I tell you to.

The worst thing Howie did that off-season was locking him into WR in RD1. Forced a pick.

Howie might have taken this lesson a bit too far in subsequent seasons, but has led to better drafting.

Gonna declare victory on my Devonta>Waddle take. Just planting that flag into the ground like an Apollo moon landing.

2013 redraft:

1. Travis Kelce

2. Lane Johnson

3. Terron Armstead

4. Eric Fisher

Good challenge.

I laughed at the premature posts from yesterday — but this game is already unofficially over

Nah, worst thing was locking in on the wrong WR in that first round.  Reagor would have been a bad pick in Round 2, Round 3, Round 6.

I think they believed Minnesota was gonna take reagor. Whether that’s true or not who knows. Even without hindsight i wouldn’t have be upset if they missed out on reagor and went for acquiring more picks. When you heard some of the tcu stories about him having lack of effort when he knew the ball wasn’t coming, sloppy route running then his whole forty issue didn’t think he was some can’t miss player. So at least maximize the value of Jefferson still being on the board of you weren’t going to take him.

there were two crimes in that selection. One the poor scouting of reagor and Jefferson.  Then second not maximizing on an opportunity when Jefferson fell into that spot and if you didn’t love him to at least acquire more picks for a roster that needed a big time infusion of young talent.

Very different when you are playing a 3rd string QB...

Thankfully the dolphins took Dion Jordan and not lane.

Whatever the Super Bowl matchup is, it should be very interesting stylistically.  I heard the point made on NFL Radio that none of BUF, CIN, nor KC have very talented or deep OL

Both the Niners and Eagles possess a relentless pass rush.

49ers had a 3rd string QB playing….

In hindsight, Reagor demonstrated the NFL capability of a 7/FA.

But at the time?  He was regarded as an elite speedster.  The tape supported it but the workouts didn’t.  The college stats weren’t great, but we’d be dealing with a tiny prospect pool if we couldn’t see beyond college stats.

I don’t think he would have escaped round 2.

Ya but Buf, Can and KC all have QB's who seem better under pressure!

Honestly if the Eagles make the SB I think I’d prefer the Bills over the Chiefs or Bengals even though from top to bottom they’re probably the most talented of the 3.

The Bills aren’t a great running team, Allen is a gunslinger so he makes mistakes as we’ve seen in the red zone this year. You never want any part of Reid or Mahomes, and Joe Burrow is unflappable and the Bengals have a good running game and underrated defense.

The jags, wow, go DP
