That's a weird predicament. Technically "playing the ball" since he hit it but I wouldn't be surprised by a penalty. I think he just got lucky that the ball landed in the way.

I’m glad that hit was a no call but by letter of the law and everything I’ve seen called over the past 5 seasons, that should have easily been a 15 yard penalty
