You’ll all hate it, but everyone should root for Dallas tomorrow.  They’ve got a shot against SF. TB would give SF a bye week.

Never.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Giants - Eagles is two major media markets.  They'll want it in prime time way more than Bills - Bengals.

Not after the Hamlin situation

I’m taking the Giants to cover, but Eagles win

My guess is

Sat 4:30 - Giants at Eagles

Sat 8:15 - Bengals at Bills This will be prime no matter what

Sun 3:00 - Jags vs Chiefs

Sun 6:30 - Girls/Bucs at Niners West Coast game and the best matchup of the weekend if Dallas wins and they will give them the extra day after playing Monday

FYP

We're going to see Boston Scott: playoff hero on Saturday.

Nope. I would rather play the 49ers than Dallas in the NFCCG.

Hopefully the Eagles week of "self correcting" as Sirianni called it was spent learning how to handle the blitz because it was effective against them last week.

Also, Lane coming back off that injury not having to face Parsons next week is a relief for him. That would've been a handful. The Giants don't have elite edge rushers, their best DL is Lawrence by far. Gives Lane a little bit of an easier test on his first game back with that injury.

And also I think the Eagles pass rush can really expose Neal up front.

I expect the Giants will try to roll Jones out a lot and keep him upright. The pass rush in week 18 against them was not good enough. They were going for the sack record and didn't get it. Hopefully they come in motivated after kinda playing half assed last week and really bring the pressure.

I think you can ignore both Eagles - Giants games.

The Giants were beat up on the D-line in the first one and the Eagles played some ugly vanilla on both sides of the ball vs Giants backups in the other.

The 3rd matchup thing is close to meaningless because the 2nd game was not a real game. The division rival thing is real but the Eagles are a much better team.

Dexter Lawrence was a freaking menace out there today.  The matchup against Dickerson/Kelce is going to be huge.  Thibodaux has come on very strong too.  The line battle is going to be a big one and Lane is probably going to be playing at 50%.

I want SF and Dallas to beat eachother up.  SF/TB will be a cake walk.

We only have to beat one of them.  Let them 2022 Bills/Chiefs eachother.

Perhaps, but that won't drive ratings to counteract the massive NYC and Philadelphia media markets.

The only real reason to do Bills - Bengals in prime time is if they care more about the potential quality of the game.

I thought the Giants had a real shot this weekend. So glad they pulled it off. Now we can sit back and relax tomorrow.

Hell yea. Purdy gets humbled and pummeled

If the Eagles are as good as we think, then who gives an F who wins what.

The entire country may tune in for that

So the Giants aren't resting their starters?

Hmn...this makes sense.  But the Chiefs are the bigger draw?  So they get prime time?

But it’s the Jags, we are the 1 seed playing a division rival

Advantage Eagles who have been game planning for a week and will be refining to fit the giants before they land in NJ.

Guess they play the Giants for a third time. Worries me to play a divisional foe and for a third time. Especially when you already beat them twice. Guess we’ll see what happens.

Fortunately we didn't give them anything to game plan in the 2nd game.

F...I'm supposed to go camping next weekend and was hoping the game would be on Sunday.

Camping?

You know we're beginning a Super Bowl Run, right?

You can always eat squirrel guts and poop in your back yard and pretend you're in the woods.

Will you bail on this good stuff?...

Tell the kids the Forests are closed next week...Maintenance...

Your math is bad.  Eagles had a 16 point lead to start the fourth where they scored thirteen and the Eagles settled for the field goal. Eagles always had that game in hand. Six points were plenty to protect Hurts.  Oh no, the sky is falling schtick is just wrong.

How is that math wrong? Outscored 16-3. Nice try though.

So we all feel comfortable that Siri, gannon and steichen can put together a better game plan than Daboll, Kafka and martindale???

Hurts health and ability to run will determine how well they play.  Just like Daniel Jones used his legs today, Hurts needs to be able to do the same.  If his scrambling is limited then they might struggle vs the NYG.

Yeah I’m not looking past the Giants. They almost beat us with their practice squad last week.

I don't think the Eagles showed much that game.  Like others have stated, everything was very vanilla.  Didn't seem like they played with any urgency knowing they played backups.
