That line tells me the sports books think we smash them. Public money is going to be on the Giants to cover.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Is he gone?

THIS.  Time to get rid of the inferiority complex re: Dallas.  The best mentality is indifference.

I don’t think it’s an inferiority complex. It’s annoyance at that "America’s Team” BS that sports morons with TV contracts persist in bringing up

Idk i thought he just was either suspended or disappeared for the bye week

Nope.   I hate Dallas, I always will.   I hate the Giants, I always will.   I hate the Washingteam, I always will.   I hate Brady, I always will.

Ah crap... either Dallas or Brady has to win.   Doesn't matter to me, I won't root for either one to win.  I will merely watch what happens and be angry at the outcome.

Agreed 100%. The Giants will always be my biggest hate thanks to all their obnoxious fans during my college days in Upstate New York.  But Dallas is a close second.

How so?

Dallas winning makes it more likely the real threat, the 49ers, get bounced before they play us.

Why can't we get a LB'er duo like Queen & Smith

Because having an OL, WR's, CB's and a DL is nice.

Bengals lucked out last year that the Chiefs played the Bills and not a cupcake like the Patriots.

I don’t want a cupcake game for the team that concerns me the most…SF.

I think Dallas winning meaningfully improves our SB odds and I have no problem rooting for them to make that a reality.

I don't see that as the outcome.

Was in the old blog. I tried to find that blog but it’s gone. Was the week before the Vikings/giants regular season game

I will have to get to PC to figure out how to have it come up in search results

Dallas isn't good enough to cause emotion.  They've been mediocre to bad for an entire generation.

I couldn't care less what Dallas does, unless it affects the Eagles.

You miss the point.  The emotion will always be there.  It isn’t something that requires any thinking.  It bubbles up from its own black water well.

I want Brady to kill Dallas to go 8-0 vs them and Dak to throw 5 picks because its funny.

It also gives them a potentially emotional game that is physical through 4 quarters rather than spending halftime practically game planning for the Eagles.

Maybe one day we will. Did you ever expect one day we’d have brown and smith type tandem at WR? Dream big kid.

I believe Eagles at Giants in week 14 closed at -7.5, so this shows Vegas thinks the teams have become more evenly matched, or Hurts will still be somewhat limited, etc.

My Dallas well is dry.  Someone backfilled it and built a playground on it years ago.

I don't see it that way at all.  Dallas is a playoff choke team.  That's their MO.

And talk about inferiority complex.   Scared of the 49ers who played a cupcake schedule and are down to their third QB.   Stop trying to find the easy path and just man up about the matchups.   Go Birds!

How is that math wrong? Outscored 16-3. Nice try though.

Garbage time points.

So it’s next Saturday night for the giants and eagles ? Hopefully the eagles can give me an early birthday present.

Yep. Winner of Dallas/Tampa plays Sunday.

Not sure I agree. The Niners will be tough, but this isn't the 85 Bears, and I can never turn down a chance to see Dallas lose. The difference between Dallas and the Niners isn't a ton IMO. Niners are better, but it's not huge.

Plus, I don't think Dallas would beat the Niners anyway. Let's face it, they're going to have to beat some damn good teams to win another SB. Hell, even if by some miracle the Bucs get to the NFCCG, if they get to the SB they'd most assuredly have to beat either the Bills/Chiefs/Bengals. 3 really good teams. It's not going to be easy, not should it be.

Well said.  I agree 100%.

Dallas hasn't made an NFCCG in 27 years, and that number needs to reach 28.

F Dallas.

Game is on my birthday next Saturday. Same day as when they blasted Minnesota five years ago. I was at that game and I’ll be there next weekend so I’ll do what I can to bring the luck.

They probably haven’t fixed times yet but hopefully it’s the early game on Saturday.

I think that game would be an absolute emotional war. Would expend a lot of energy and emotions in that type of game. Add on if somehow the cowboys managed to win that game,  teams are 0-15 the following week after playing the niners (chiefs had a bye the next week).

Yea exactly. Eagles have a very good team, historic even. I’m sick of "Eagles never played anyone good”. I don’t care who Eagles play, keep making everyone have to respect you.
