Dallas hasn’t made an NFCCG in 27 years

Cowboys haven’t won a road playoff game in 30 years

Cowboys haven’t won consecutive road playoff games in 47 years

Brady hasn’t lost to Dallas his entire 23 year career

SF hasn’t lost a home playoff game to a wild card team in 35 years

Would be crazy historic if that happened

Eventually it's going to. And they have a pretty easy round one have tomorrow. Unless Tom Brady plays like Brady. NE Brady I mean.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Eagles/Giants wouldn’t be a prime time game in the regular season.

It’s likely the least appealing matchup of the divisional playoffs with the 2nd biggest spread.

It's the matchup with the 2 biggest markets on Saturday.

I hope it's 4:30, but it's likely at night.

I don't see us 8 points better than the Giants right now.  I fear their defense with it's persistent blitz looks.  Our O could get bogged down and we lose a coin flip game.

Tbh if the eagles stick with the run i think the giants are in trouble. Their dvoa vs. pass and run is nearly identical. However giants are really bad against the run. The eagles should be able to exploit that. I also think some of the blitzes they came with where they sell out could backfire is hurts if able to run like before the shoulder issue.

tbh giants offense is more concerning. Dvoa they were 10th. Their WRs arent great but slayton and hodgins are competent, but the eagles can’t let jones and Barkley just run wild.

I heard that the Bills had the easiest game against the Dolphins... that turned out differently than folks expected.

You never know, Brady and the Bucs have had some gems this year, including beating the living snot out of their Monday opponent.

And Dallas is coming off an ugly loss and Dak’s worst game of his career… unless you rank his game against Tampa 4 months ago as worse. I think Dak has thrown 10 picks his last 6 games(?). This is not the D to get off that horse versus

Rivalries don’t reside in the head, they reside in the heart.  That is why we all remember our first girlfriend fondly, regardless how irrelevant they are in our current life.

Apologies to @pisceschica for generalizing the gender of my comment.

Rivalries are a lack of confidence. It's not the Heart, it's the Head.

Genders irrelevant. Respects to any females reading. :angel

Eliminate a rivalry? The job would be to do better than expected.. continually...That's the Blueprint.

Never been more serious on this board than right now..

Matt, you occasionally makes some statements in here that trigger me and require thought, which is your intention. It works.

I'm okay with that. I enjoy the challenge. Beats discussing Draft Scenarios that may not come to pass...or crying about missed picks.

This particular conversation seems to turn on our general "hate" for Dallas vs Giants, but you opened a door to a very deep hole.

Would you describe our current position as "In Control", Waiting to See" or " Just glad to be here"??

I don't care who shows up at the Linc, looks now like It'll be the Giants. Who cares? Rivalries. Do we have the Horses?

Are we good enough? I think we got these guys, and move on.

In the words of the Great Philosopher, Andy Reid, " Times Yours"...

baltimore definitely recovered :o

What a play by Kyle Hamilton. JFC.

I wish our defense played as hard as the Ravens or Steelers. Hope to get that intensity this Saturday.

Bengals OL definitely sucks.

on a play like that when its clear you're not going to get the first just get down :nonono:

Kyle Hamilton has been a big difference maker for Baltimore this year. I’m okay being a little patient on Davis, but that decision isn’t looking great now.

Nah.  Army-Navy... nothing to do with lack of confidence.  OSU-Michigan... Alabama-Auburn... It is usually about something like geography or familiarity, nothing to do with confidence.

Wife hates it. 'Shes a Cowboy fan and we both get up at 5 am. So she gets to pick between missing her playoff game or being extremely run down at work the next day. It's complete garbage. People work. Nobody wants to stay up until midnight on Mondays.

You knew you'd get blowback on this, right?

Bless you for your tolerance...:angel

Playing musical chairs on the right side of the line due to injuries.   Sound familiar?

The "beating the same team 3 times in one season” is a baseless narrative. If you beat a team twice, if anything it shows you’re the better team. That doesn’t mean you can’t lose the third time. You can lose to anyone in the playoffs if you play a bad game. But to make that the basis of concern is illogical. It should be the other way. The Giants need to prove they can beat us.

Why does it look like the guy that just scored is mad with his own team?

We weren't drafting a linebacker (yes, LB) that high.

He’s not a linebacker. Big for a safety, yes. He’s a one-of-a-kind special player. I’d take him over a rotational DT any day of the week.

I really want Brian Branch in the draft. He would be an excellent versatile piece for the secondary.

I hope the bengals lt is ok

WOW a fumbled snap turns into a first down

Major loss for the bengals at LT.

Wow Bengals dropping like flies
