For the not scared of the Giants / Cowboys bunch, I did want to point something out.

If the better teams win next weekend, it will be a 9ers / Eagles NFCCG.

But if the Cowboys win tonight, we are an unfortunate series of events away from a Giants / Cowboys NFCCG.

For anyone who wants to go with the don’t be scared routine, read sentence 2 again.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

It sounds so cliche but win the turnover battle. Get off the field on 3rd down defense and avoid any pre snap penalties.

This probably has eventual salary cap implications for the NFL.

It needs to have a cap now in NCAA.

I for one choose death.

It is... but somehow it didn't work for the Chargers.

I don't really care about NCAA FB, so it means nothing to me if they ruin it; but they better tread carefully with this NIL stuff.

lol. It's not because I can't stay up... it's because Saturday is usually when I go out.

If we go full Gannon, he’ll have a field day. Sacks are drive-killing plays except for the Vikes and a Gannon-run defense.

If Gannon allows this to happen, we should drive him to Houston.

That is his defense.

And score TDs and not field goals in the red zone. All cliche... because always true.

In his two starts against a Gannon coached defense, Daniel Jones has passed for a combined 371 yards. Why do Eagles fans now assume that he's going to go off and pass for that combined amount in a single game?

Peter king has:

Daboll
Shanahan
McDermott
Pederson
tomlin

As his order for coach of the year

Ridiculous. McD was not that good this year, I’m assuming King has him here for the Hamlin situation. But that’s ridiculous. King is a voter for the award

Tampa Bay just got a lot better, assuming he's actually healthy.

ACL?

Typical fear mongering.

Playoff games are not supposed to count in voting, but, I think Pederson won it Saturday night.

Kinda hard not to vote for Daboll

And some of you watch this defense with your heads in the sand. Fear-mongering? We just watched Gannon’s zone defense get shredded by Andy Dalton. His philosophy is ***backwards for a team like this.

What gives people comfort about this defense? The stats? The points? Essentially items that don’t tell the full story of how poor of a coach he is?

Eagles 34

Giants 21

Eagles offense gets back on track.

 AJ 2 tds. Bradberry int

Double bonus

@LeanMeanGM

I still don’t think Gannon deserves this hate.  If Jones goes off for 370 yards, 3 TDs, and ends our season….then I’ll join in.

But I think he’s going to get the job done.

Cause Minnesota’s defense is awful (legit 28th in ppg allowed, 31st in total yards and 30th vs. pass) and made him look like a star.

The only way the Eagles lose against the Giants is a collapse of the OL that leads to 1+ turnovers and renders Hurts useless.

Could that happen?  Absolutely.  But I definitely don’t expect it.

I’m not a huge Gannon fan either, but it’s silly to argue the underlying metrics. The Eagles have a very good defense.

And the Saints didn’t score a single point on offense in the 2nd half and only scored 13 overall. Gannon adjusted after a terrible first half.
