Stroud should go #1 overall.  There isn't much to choose between him and Bryce Young (I don't think either are great prospects), but Young is so damn slight.  I think the Colts might try to trade up to #1 and get him (hard to believe the report they want Levis -- but it is the Colts)

No need to trade up for Levis.  Just stay put.

Bears will trade out of 1 for someone who wants Stroud.

Cardinals at 3 are not going to take a QB.

So if the Texans want Levis at 2, let them have him and draft another QB.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Cards go with another WR or LB

He won't be BPA, but I could absolutely see the Cards go OT at 3. Their OL is terrible and Broderick Jones has prototype size/athleticism for the position. Are they going to punt on OL again with a QB off a torn ACL?

Looking ahead a bit- providing we beat the Giants- (which will be tougher than some think) and provided Dallas beats Tampa tonight-

who would you rather play the following week. San Fran or Dallas?

San Fran. There is never a scenario where I want Dallas advancing in the playoffs.

Ever.

It'll be interesting what happens in the top 5 of the draft

Stroud, Anderson, and Young are all going in the top 5… No speculation needed. If anyone moves up to take another QB after that, there’s a significant chance Jalen Carter is sitting there at 6. That would be the dream get for us. Wouldn’t take a lot more than NO’s 2024 2nd rounder

I wouldn’t say ever. In 1980, Eagles fans rooted for the Cowboys against the Falcons in a game which decided who we would face in the NFC champion the following week. The point was, we’d be getting Dallas at home but would have to go to Atlanta otherwise. And the Falcons had our number in those days. They had beaten us at home a few weeks earlier to get the top seed and might have been objectively better.

So i can see rooting for Dallas in a scenario where a home game is on the line. If it was home vs. Dallas or a road game at San Fran, I’d probably root for the Turds.

How is the QB class this year?

This is the scuttlebutt so far:

Stroud and Young are both seen as top 5 picks.

Levis is in that 1 to 10 range depending on how much an individual team falls in love with him.

Richardson is the raw tools guy in that 7-25 range depending on how much teams like him.

I'm not sure about the rest of the prospects.

The Vikings defense sucks and people are making Jones out to be Brady if you listen to sports commentators today

It’s possible I may have felt that way back then since that would have been before three of their five Super Bowls. I also can’t speak to their fans and hype back then since it was well before I started watching the game, but even today, my hatred for Dallas is so great that I think I’d still root for a road game in San Fran over playing home against Dallas.

While the myth is incorrect about beating a team 3 times in one season, here is another way to look at it.

21-14 in the playoffs ( 35 games )

That means in the regular season, those teams were 70-0.

It is quite a drop off from 70-0 to 21-14.

We didn’t really play 2 games. We played 1 and a scrimmage.

I don't really care about NCAA FB, so it means nothing to me if they ruin it; but they better tread carefully with this NIL stuff.

You probably should, just because of the massive implications it can have on the NFL product, which is already floundering.

I'm rooting for the Cowboys to collapse tonight. One and done just feels right to me.

The NFL product is floundering??

Plus, with the hype around Purdy, it will be funny to have all the Brady passing the torch to Purdy talk.

Whatever happens will be over-discussed.

Everyone will make a big deal of his size, I think Young is the better prospect. Levis has the size that everyone wants to drool over. If they really want him, they won't need to trade up

I have him as my number and not that close. His pocket presence and calmness with everything going on around him is just elite.

And when is the last Ohio QB to do anything in the pros? Stroud vs Michigan didn't handle pressure very well and he isn't great outside of the pocket

Half dead practically. Once college programs shut down in the next month or two the NFL maybe has 2 years left in it.

to be fair I agree- And I think San Fran is a good team, but they had an easier schedule than most.

The best teams they beat were the Seahawks, Bucs and Dolphins.....

I'm expecting an interview with Irsay at this point.

Buddy selling his tickets (I can't afford them). Was ready to close a sale with this guy and went on his FB and saw all the Giants crap. No sale. 🤣
