Haha.. I have that flick saved in 3 different places...What an entertaining movie!

"My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my Father...Prepare to Die"

Mandy never had such a good role to play since.

Don't forget the Stellar performance of the Late, Great, Andre..."I brought these horses, I thought you might need them..."

Loaded with great lines, rivals Caddyshack for quotables... B-)

nice quote.

Ozzy.

Embiid averaged 37 points per game in 12 games for December 2022 thus far.  They play OKC tomorrow but back to back maybe they rest.

Alright, what's streamable out there?

Glass Onion.  Saw it.  Fun.

Avatar...no.

Top Gun...saw it, best movie ever.

Babylon.  No, not watching another movie about Hollywood from the same Hollywood clique that did a movie about Hollywood 2 years ago.

Violent Night...maybe.

Everything everywhere all at once....I've already got a splitting headache.  This may be best for after the fever breaks.

Need  help here.

Watch "The Nice Guys.” Not new, but an underrated movie that might have flown under the radar. It’s on Netflix.

Feel better.

In Bruges is one of my favorite movies. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was great. Val Kilmer was awesome.

Tar is my favorite movie of the year but it's a slower burn type of movie. It's available, but I think only for $20 rental, not on any free streaming services.

The Northman is pretty good if you like mythology, cinematography, and story. Also more of a slower burn.

Banshees of Inisherin is good, but definitely a taste specific movie. Not going to be for everyone.

Maybe Prey? The best Predator movie probably since the original. I didn't think it was great, but thought it was solid.

If you like horror, you can check out Barbarian. An interesting twist on the horror genre.

All depends on your tastes,

Agree on Prey. The second best of the Predator series.

The Banshees of Inisherin is by the same director who did In Bruges, Martin McDonagh. It also stars the same leads in In Bruges, Farrell and Gleason. It's on HBO Max for free with a sub right now if anyone wants to check it out, but be mindful it's a very different movie than In Bruges. Not nearly as outwardly funny, much darker, slower, and subtly funny. I liked it a lot, but I can see some people hating it, especially going into it thinking they're getting another In Bruges.

I thought he was asking for 2022 films though, so I only recommended 2022. Otherwise, I don't think you can go wrong with Whiplash, I think it has something for everyone in that movie.

Just to circle back, Rogue Heroes is a seriously well done new series.

If you're looking for some entertainment, this thing has Season 1. Six Episodes..so far....

The Proposed birth of the British SAS...fiction, of course, mostly B-) , but a very entertaining take and well done.

Love me sum Paddy Mayne, the heart of the whole concept.

" They may be Drunks right now, but when they sober up tomorrow, they are all German Pilots and Engineers. "

" This is our warrant. Kill or die. Any of you boys that don't have the stomach for it, there's the door. Let's begin"

Also, "Nobody here can read this Desert as well as I can " Tired of being a Taxi Service, let us in the Fight."

What a well done series Waiting for Ep 7....

Old Henry

I think it's on a few different streaming platforms but at the very least you can rent it on Amazon Prime.  Western styled movie that takes place in 1906 focused on a widowed man named Henry living on his land/farm with his son and stuff happens.  I wouldn't read much about it and definitely wouldn't watch the trailer as it gives the whole movie away but it is an excellent movie.  Hidden gem that I hadn't heard of until I saw it a month ago.  Came out in 2021.

Another interesting under the radar movie is Red Rocket which is on Showtime.  About a former male porn star that has nothing and moves back in with his ex wife in a really poor part of Texas.  It's the type of movie where everyone in it is a dirtbag on some level.   It was an entertaining worthwhile watch though.

I love the trailer for Henry. Wow. Good acting.

In Bruges....

Seems like everybody missed this one. Brandon was most excellent in this one. Colin did a nice job. Who knew Ralph could be such a stupid scary gangster? The Boy/Dwarf Person was so key... The exchange trying to decide who would shoot first and what the rules were was Classic Stuff.

Gleeson's sacrifice to his young protege was the stuff of Real Cinema.

Coins first to alert the folks below, yeah, no collateral damage, good screenplay.

Truly under-rated flick. Look it up. Watch, Enjoy.....

This is what I believe is the most improbable thing to happen in NFL history:

From 2011-2013, Dallas went 8-8 3 years in a row.

Not only did they go 8-8 3 years in a row, they were 8-7 heading into the final week of the season with a shot at winning the division.

Not only did they go 8-8 3 years in a row while being 8-7 heading into the final week of the season with a shot at winning the division, the team they played at the end of the season was specifically the only other divisional opponent who had a shot at winning the division.

Not only did they go 8-8 3 years in a row while being 8-7 heading into the final week of the season with a shot at winning the division while the team they played at the end of the season was specifically the other divisional opponent who was in line to win the division, it was a different divisional team every single year!

In 2011 Dallas was 8-7 facing the NY giants with winner takes the division stakes, Giants win and Dallas goes 8-8. In 2012 Dallas was 8-7 facing Washington with winner takes the division stakes, Washington wins and Dallas goes 8-8. In 2013 Dallas was 8-7 facing Philly with winner takes the division stakes, Philly wins and Dallas goes 8-8. Clean sweep! All 3 other members in a row.

That is Fing impossible. Anyone got anything that beats this?

Traveling back to the states tomorrow so likely going to miss the game, at the very least I'll miss half. Please refrain from posting about the game until I have time to catch up. Thanks.

I think you are confused.  Hurts has thrown 5 interceptions this year.

Uhhh no. I was talking about Dak Prescott, the comment I bolded in the post I quoted.

Once again youre the confused one for bringing up Hurts who had absolutely nothing to do with that conversation.

Minshew and Dak were the subjects of that  post.  The only time Hurts came into play is your paranoia with being wrong about him.

I was waiting for your response.  Dude is lost.

well now you have one.  And look at that, you and your pal downunder are wrong again.

But at least you're wrong together, and thats all that matters

Back to how our conversation started.

Are you not saying Minshew has thrown a pick in 174 straight games ??

My initial reply was to this statement saying exactly that.

What do you mean "back to where the convo started?"

You mean back to where you misread my post and decided to throw in some random arse stat comparing Dak and Hurts??

I was talking about Dak.  Thats the comment I bolded.  Hes thrown lots of picks, I dont think he's the best healthy QB in the NFC.

Go back to my original post you f'ing clown.

Its so cute how you guys all team up to have each others back and be wrong together

The funny part is that downunder wasnt even part of it, he butted in to compare Dak and Hurts for some reason, and used an arbitrary and meaningless stat to prove some point I didnt even make.

Here is ConnecticutEagle talking about Minshews performance vs. Dallas, and my response agreeing with his overall point, but not what he said about Dak.

Is that clear enough now to the peanut gallery?
