It makes such a difference. Look at the Chiefs vs. the Bengals. The Chiefs came out flat after that game vs. the Bills. The Chiefs also had an easy playoff game the week before, but it's just hard to play 3 straight, locked-in playoff games. Can Dallas beat SF & us? Sure. It's just asking a lot to go on the road for *5* straight weeks (last 2 regular season games were on the road). That does catchup with you.

Not just any slate of road games, either.  From Texas they travel to Tennessee and back, travel to Washington, DC and back, travel to Florida and back, travel to California and back, then travel to Philly.

I don't think they make that trip to Philly, but if they do then the Eagles need to play smash mouth against them after San Fran wears them down further.  Wasn't there a stat out there that teams were 0-15 in the game played after they faced the Niners?

I don't like any overconfidence going into the Giants game. That team wins because other teams F up. Eagles, despite their massive talent advantage, can't afford to F up.

Everything hinges on the health of Jalen Hurts.

If his shoulder is good to go, and he can run, and is willing and able to make plays with his legs and take those hits, we win both games.

If the shoulder isnt ready. Or they win this week but he has a setback for the next game, we wont make it.

Any update on Gage?

Sounds like a concussion, but he’s undergoing further tests on neck.

Looks like I'm avoiding all NFL media/content until Saturday with the way all the Cowboy slobbing is looking already 🤮

been doing that for years

I forgot Wilson interviewed there as well.

@Uscg-green you were on one last night, lets see if you have come to your senses this morning.

You said the Cowboys benefited last night from a weak team, and they will get curb stomped this week.

Opening line is 4, two questions.

1.  What do you think the line should be ??

2.  What do you think the margin of victory will be for the 49ers ??

49ers 24 - 20

Unbearable to watch but it‘s a good thing if they get celebrated like that. Makes them play like garbage.

I know people hated the wide nine but I miss Schwarz. He got a lot out of bad players.

I would love to see him with our defense as it is now.

I dont know who Id rather play should be advance to the NFCCG.

On one hand, we have seen Dallas twice. And nearly certain we win both if we had Hurts in the 2nd game. If Hurts is healthy enough to play like himself, we beat them a 3rd time.

On the other hand, eagles have what it takes to pressure the rookie, Purdy. As well, their offense is running, and short stuff. It plays right in to our defense's strength. We play to keep everything in front of us, and thats all the 9ers want to do.

Put them in a bunch of 3rd and long situations, they wont consistently convert. Their WRs are not hard to cover for our CBs. McCaffery is not a big power back thats going to run over our smaller LBs. We match up very well.

Our offense needs to be clicking on all cylinders to beat their D. And it can. But if its not, itll be really tough to beat them. Again, Hurts health is key.

I think if Hurts is not 100% Id rather see Dallas. Theyll compete to make as many mistakes as we do to give us a chance to win.

If Hurts is good to go, may be better to see the 9ers. They wont be able to make it a shootout, and this offense with a healthy Hurts will score on anyone.

I just really need to see Lane be Lane...  Can't have Driscoll or anyone else going against Bosa, Parsons, or Thibo****l

thats a big one, but I dont think it makes or breaks us. Stoutland solves that issue, and again still hinges on Hurts willingness to run and keep them honest.

On the flip side of that, 9ers can expose the middle of the field, and you absolutely can not miss tackles against them, which we have been doing lately.

I would still rather play them as I think we can rattle Purdy with the pass rush, but each opponent brings things to the table that are worrisome.

How many playoff games can a team win when the kicker can't kick the ball between the posts to save his life??

Just watch -- Maher will turn into Justin Tucker against San Fran

Would be nice if our 2019 1st round pick could play RT. That would probably solve all of these issues, or at least some of them, but oh well.

Yup.  Dallas CANNOT advance to the Super Bowl.  I will happily trade away the opportunity to beat them for the knowledge that they are home watching us play the Niners.

And as I previewed yesterday, we are now an unfortunate series of events away from a NYG v DAL NFCCG.

Still, it does say a lot about our division that 3 of the last 4 teams are from the NFCE.
