This blog was non-stop anti-Hurts attacks for 18 months or so. His production and success of the team has  tempered the handful who were relentless, but are still pushing for a narrative that has Hurts failing. To say so otherwise is disingenuous.

I'm most likely wrong, but I just have this gut feeling the Jags pull a HUGE upset.

I think he's improved.  Daboll has done a much better job using him and he looks competent.  It's not an easy match up for the Eagles but the defensive line will put a lot more pressure on him than the Vikings did.

I was less depressed about the panthers loss than most. I really didn’t think that team once they lost westbrook on the mnf game 2 weeks before the playoffs started was capable of winning a SB. And i thought they were super fortunate they converted an improbably 4th and 26. Obviously mcnabb was better then delhomme but the panthers had much better weapons and harder to defend then the eagles at that point in the season. 

Tbh the cardinals game i was way more depressed. I thought it was the last hurrah for dawk, runyan, Thomas and close for mcnabb. And i thought they were gonna do it that year with how hot they got. And then they lost to that crap franchise in the cardinals 

I have a feeling that the Eagles will beat the Giants and the Cowboys will upset the 49ers.  

That sets up an NFCCG in Philly with the Cowboys rolling into town.  Have we ever faced the Cowboys in the NFCCG?  That would put the rivalry to a whole new level.  

The Eagles would have dominated the Raiders in the SB, just like the Bucs did. Watching the Bucs devour them was almost as painful as the 2002 NFCCG. Whenever I see that Ronde INT in highlights, I have to look away. Once Staley scored on that opening possession, I thought we had it. Then Levon Kirkland couldn't cover...

Tomorrow is the big, intense practice day that Lane is going to test himself with. I’m slightly more optimistic he’ll be ok than I was when the injury first came out.

Part of the negladelphian in me. I know players play through stuff all the time, but I'd feel better if we found out after the fact, not getting shut down for almost a month and trying to play with something that eventually needs surgery.

Also noteworthy they didn't open Siposs practice window which they have done the first day of practice of the week for every other player that came back. He's a punter but I think they would stick to the normal routine. Kerns leg is shot, I hope he doesn't blow it for us.
